Neal will be benched next weekend. He has more potential at the plate but was obviously garbage this weekend. Milazzo does a much better job working counts and gets more competitive ABs

Neal will not be benched. Neal was obviously promised when he signed he would play. He started at catcher last year in front of 2 veterans. Now. Ole JJ has Neal playing outfield to make sure he is in the lineup.

Neal needs to catch one game and DH the next. He’s not an outfielder.

Top 5ish bat based on what. Hit just above 200 last year. Avg is currently inflated due to the powerhouse pre SEC schedule. It will come back to earth in 3 weeks.

We are lacking good, solid LHed batters.

We need Neal and Pearson to step up as well as one of the freshmen OFers.

Milazzo will hit .391 all year though.

There's always that double standard. Gotta love it.

A double standard you used last year to bash Milazzo’s pre-sec average.

the hit against the same players, it applies to both. That isn't a double standard.

I definitely think Milazzo is a calming influence on mound and with staff and should catch at least 2/3 and you are not really sacrificing offense when other players aren’t hitting either

If the standard is the same then Milazzo is the better hitter based on both last year and this year. Right?

do you think he is? I do know from past history, you do not believe in sample sizes. So maybe you do.

one of them has a .302 iso(2nd on team)& the other has a .043 iso(12th).

It's not everything, but if you like creating runs, you put value in it. You watch any other series this weekend? Everyone is hitting the ball out of the park. LSU leaned on it last year too. The ball is hot. Sacrifice bunting isn't winning shite.

Careful, I got shite on for this a couple weeks ago. He cratered HARD when we got into sec play last season.
