I definitely think Milazzo is a calming influence on mound and with staff and should catch at least 2/3 and you are not really sacrificing offense when other players aren’t hitting either

You give me one must win game and I want Milazzo behind the plate. I like Neal trading off with him but please no more Trav back there unless we absolutely have to or you're getting him a few reps midweek. No reason Trav should be back there on a Sunday. Neal should be getting work at DH from time to time as well. And despite that horrible error sunday I understand Neal getting some RF/1B work against lesser opponents.

Neal was obviously promised when he signed he would play.
I see people make these kinds of arguments all the time without clearly thinking through the logic. Even if we accept the premise that he was “promised” something, what rationale would there be to play a player who isn’t producing based on such a promise? What’s the downside to breaking the promise if an unproductive player quits the team (if it even came to that)? If he’s playing him, it’s because he believes he gives the team the best opportunity in the long run to win, even if he struggles in the short-term.
