Maybe it was more than football for him.

Stan Humphries - transferred from LSU to NLU. Made it to the NFL. Started a SB. Don't think Wickersham ever took an NFL snap.

He definitely would have been better off staying here. Just like Howard. I have less animosity towards Bech and hope he has a good year next season.

LSU picked Bech over Colman from FSU

nope

coleman wanted to go out of state
coleman wanted to play basketball in college too
Mich State offered both

Bech was committed to Vandy, a spot in the LSU class opened up late
Bech was offered and switched to LSU

so why beat this guy up and drag him through the mud?

who is doing that? isn't it pretty obvious at this point that he should have transferred to a program below TCU?

Anderson has all the running abilities you want without the receiving capabilities. Sadly, I think he fades out as a disappointment, but I’m pulling for him. I love the super fast guys.

Trey Quinn says hi.

I get all the lunch pail, great motor, coach on field stuff, but Quinn really was underused here. Malachi Dupre and Dural were starting his sophomore year. The Wisconsin coaches literally joked about Dupree inability to play like a big receiver even though he was 6’4. Dural was good, but not other worldly. Quinn should have been a much bigger part of the offense. It was the Miles era though so what do you expect.
