Be honest with yourself: Can you see Coach O leading LSU to the playoffs?

He did a good job this year, he won more games than expected .

LSU was picked by some outlets to be a 6-6 team.

But can you honestly see O adapting and innovating enough to get LSU to the playoffs?

We get rid of Canada and promote from within AGAIN (after promoting from within for our head coach) and hire a 60 year old OC.

Can you honestly see O leading LSU to the playoffs?

Can you see him adapting and innovating and being ahead of the curve?

I cannot, and thats tough.

If he hires the right OC and let's him do his job, there isn't any reason O can't. If he retains E, or makes a lackluster change at the position, I will change my opinion.

Never.

I will never support that hire either.

Still don't blame him for Saturday, though. He was well on his way to an 11 win season.

The "happenings" during the aTm game, followed by the narrative that the media presented will tell you all you need to know about what direction LSU is headed with him at coach.

You just thought we had no respect prior. Just wait. We just fell behind aTm in the football pecking order....

I can, he wasn't far off from doing it this year with a team picked to win 7 games.

Not at all.

It will always be one excuse after another with him too.

Yes. He almost did it this year with the team that wasn't as talented as some of the other contenders. if we improve our roster and he improves his coaching and the coaches around him then yes

He almost did it this year. The 2 losses vs A&M and Fla had nothing to do with the HC. With Alabama talent he probably wins it every year.

I've seen improvement from the Miles era.
Is it enough to compete for a national title, no!
They are still way behind Bama in talent at critical positions.

Sure. I foresee a one loss season next year. Which will get us into the playoffs almost guaranteed.

Based on this year's progress, yes. I think next year will be a Golden opportunity to either get to the playoffs or at least continue the momentum to get there soon.

No, he doesn't have "IT". He might be a decent recruiter, he just does not have the moxi to run the program to the promise land.
