Is that the group responsible for rehabbing our football players? Are they the ones who did the surgery in Whit Weeks?

Whit will have his surgery in Birmingham according to reports.

I certianly hope not. I know firsthand that there are doctors there that should not have a medical license and I have had the corrective surgeries elsewhere that back that up.

I think Dr. Andrews is the Bama doc even though he is an LSU alum according to Wikipedia.
But the ortho docs on staff are from Baton Rouge Orthopedic Center.
Saban made Andrews and his clinic the Bama docs.
The players can go where ever but sometimes you just trust a doctor because “they are a doctor and we are not” not realizing they may not be the best they may have just negotiated a contract that nobody questioned

Maybe former LSU QB, Dr. Sol Graves should see him. He practices out Monroe/West Monroe.

He is well into his 80s now.
Bama still uses the HealthSouth/Andrews' Sports Medicine Center, sans James Andrews. Lyle Cain is an Andrews protégé there whom I don't know, but he is the Bama team physician. Along with OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, ASMOC one of the better centers for sports-related foot and ankle work in the country.

Dr. Andrew’s I think became popular starting with Bo Jackson. Doubt he’s still practicing but I’m sure he built a good group over in Alabama.

The Andrews group is also the team docs for Auburn and Samford. They do a lot of big name athletes surgeries. I’m pretty sure whit is going there.
