For the amount of fans that will attend, they can use memorial stadium. 21,500 capacity

The Grantland Rice Bowl’s were fun back in the day. Terry Bradshaw played his last college game with 8-1 Louisiana Tech against undefeated East Tennessee State. Unfortunately Bradshaw was sacked 12 times in a losing effort.

LSU can barely get fans to stay for their own game.

I'm not making the long haul trip back home for a fricking Gordon McKernan bowl.

Raising Canes Bowl would be an easy yes though.

1974 & 1975 it was played in Tiger Stadium although the crowds did not come. Saw Delaware play UNLV in 1974 in an empty stadium. We were just kids and got to run all over the stadium due to lack of crowd while our Dads watched football.

Only one of these is worse than BR. Maybe.

El Paso is a very scenic place that’s underrated as hell. I hope it stays that way. It’s miles better than BR.

Never been to Boise, but I bet it’s better than BR.

Frisco is a concrete jungle suburb, but it’s safe and nice.

If Shreveport can have a bowl, BR can too. Plus Tiger Stadium is an icon in college football. Is there a better place to play a college football game? I don’t think so.

We used to have one, the Grantland Rice Bowl, which was a D2 play-off game in Memorial Stadium. Saw Terry Bradshaw and LPU get beaten by some team from Tennessee. I still have the program somewhere. Saw McNeese get beaten, too.
