Exactly, school starts next month and Wade only has 4 official players. I saw 1 ranter naming commits but they aren’t 100% bc they are waiting for clearance. 1 player was already denied eligibility today.

Of course they aren’t and a post history search would prove it. There are probably some people who are antsy but I’d bet 95+% of those posters got their information by reading troll posts on this board.

A judge in Ohio just cleared 24 four year players to play a fifth. There are dozens more around the country soon to be granted the same ruling.
I'm positive Wade anticipated this, and he's gonna have quite a selection at his disposal, especially considering most rosters around the country are mostly full at this point.
I still wouldn't be surprised to see Qadir Copeland end up in P&G, though he would need to have some NBA contractual issues ironed out.
As you put it MK, these "concern trolls " don't realize, or more likely choose to ignore the fact that Wade is smarter than he looks.
I have ZERO concern that Wade won't field a highly competitive team just like he did in his first tenure in BR, and just like he has everywhere he's been.

I think it's a valid concern. We were all excited with the coaching hire, but it's getting pretty late to not have the roster filled in.
Most teams are basically set, with maybe 1-2 spots open for a late addition. There's already some preseason predictions out there.
Meanwhile, we don't officially have enough to even put 5 guys on the floor.
If I had to guess, I'd say Wade expected maybe 5-6 guys from last year's team to hang around, at least provide depth.

The pattern seems to be for them to spam the board with sky is falling stuff like “we won’t have a roster” anytime there’s an eligibility article released. Then they disappear for awhile, come back and bash the players he signs then the pattern repeats itself. This is the 3rd cycle of “we won’t have enough players to field a team” nonsense they’ve launched on the boards.

I honestly expected this part would have been done by now. Then again, I also expected the vast majority of our roster to be Americans, which doesn't appear to be the case this season. When we hired Wade, I thought I'd see guys from McNeese and NC State come over, and a few other guys out of the portal from smaller or mid-major teams. I didn't think we'd see so much focus on international guys.

From what I’ve read it just looks like we lost Madar for the 2nd time. I don’t think anyone realistically expected Luis to be eligible so not sure how our situation has changed from a month ago. Are you worried that we won’t be any good or are you worried we won’t have a team?

Classes start in 6 weeks. I'll admit I don’t have a full appreciation for how roster building works in the age of the portal and international player signings, but if he's had a plan along, can you map out how the rest of the roster is going to come together and why it's taking so long to do so?

9-10 can be a bit risky, with injuries possible.

Well Wade said he only wants to pay 8 so I think 9-10 is good for what he wants. We have the Bender kid who’s kindve an unknown and the TE who said he’s playing basketball, Hudson I think is his name and he’s supposed to be good enough to provide a couple minutes here and there so I think Wade’s ok with the bottom portion of the bench, he just wanted it to be stacked completely. I think the guys we have are very good. I think it’ll come down to how he uses the guards and how well the bigs prove to be on defense but the ceiling has a pretty high.

Spot on. Whenever there was a commit announced, they were ghosts. Now they’ve come out of the woodwork for the (false) narrative that Wade “let a local kid get away!” (Spears Jr.)
Such a predictable and pathetic bunch. Once the winning starts, they’ll crawl back in their holes again.

Despite so many on here saying how easy it is to flip a roster even in a coach's first season, I think most have tempered expectations W-L wise this season.
