When men's basketball is winning, which has been very sporadic over the years, it's in no way, shape, or form the black sheep of LSU.

When Wade does his thing here, you're head's gonna spin when you see how popular it becomes on campus.

There was a 10-15 year period under Dale when basketball was NUMBER ONE on campus.

I seent it myself.

Me too. I’m feeling a very efficient offense. Smart shots and more passing than other wade offenses. Just a guess.

Verge said what most of us have been saying. You’re not breaking a rule if the rules don’t exist. I hate the analyst that hate him cause they ain’t him, or their buddies aren’t him. Dude was a catalyst in getting the ncaa of their behinds.

First games I ever went to were dales last couple years. So don’t really have that experience. Loved Brady, wades first stent, and even Johnny’s struggle. Guess don’t have many comrades that love bb like myself. They’re all baseball and football unless basketball is elite that year. Ride or die here.

Yea, having players who’ve competed at the euro league level is a big bonus for us on offense. I think if we can defend the rim and rebound the ball at a high level on the defensive end we’re going to be a problem.

I remember Dale's heyday with Rudy and Ethan. Damn, that was some fun times. Even baseball today in a national championship year doesn't generate the same excitement basketball USED to, here. Football could surpass it, but it had to be a good team (like the Orange or Sugar teams).

I go back to 1977 as well. That 81 team was the best in school history IMO, I just wish Rudy had been healthy.

Serious question. How is it December 1st if the season starts in November?

What do you mean how? It is whatever the rule says it is.

Wade had years where the roster wasn't complete until August at LSU

One of those years was 2019-20, after Wade's conference title and Sweet Sixteen appearance. I remember Wade got in trouble with the NCAA for the first time and there were a number of players on the team who portaled out. Wade DID assemble a team that year, and it was a good one-- scads of talent, 12-6 regular season SEC and probably a #4 or #5 tourney regional seed if COVID hadn't inserted itself so rudely

Which August (or after) signings do you recall?

Who exactly are you talking about?

Waters and Reid declared for the draft after the 18-19 season. KBW was out of eligibility. He signed Watford and James Bishop out of HS. Mays, Williams, Smart, Days, Taylor, all returned. I guess maybe the only "late" add could have been Charles Manning from JUCO, but that was it. The ability transfer without sitting a year (absent being a grad student) wasn't allowed then. So no one of significant note "portaled out". Let alone a "number of them."

I seem to remember there were several key contributors from 2018-19 who left the team and later returned, but not long before fall practices began

The losing coach in that epic game was none other than former LSU head coach Jay McCreary. He was fired and Press Maravich was hired. Press then hired McCreary as his assistant coach.

So not years (plural) then and definitely not any contributing players. Got it.

I said off the top of my head, you want another ok, Randy Onwuasor so that’s now plural.

lol you asked a question and got an answer you didn’t expect or like so you move the goal post. Now I get your posts in this thread, my mistake for engaging in good faith.

You're the one who said years...but sure, I moved the goalposts.

If Wade finishes this roster out with the likes of Onwuasor and Penn-Johnson we'll be loaded lol.

You did and now you’re doing it again. You asked if he’d signed anybody in August then when the facts weren’t to your liking you added qualifiers like you’re doing now.

Why are you saying “we” when you’re pulling for us to lose?

No...I didn't

This isn't that complicated. If you ask someone for options do you expect them to give you one?

Also. I have never pulled for LSU to lose nor basked in a loss, unlike you under McMahon.
