Not even slightly concerned about Crews, Berry or Dugas. I wish, for his sake, that Morgan would develop a hint of power.

Morgan had 6 HR’s last year and he’s added more strength this year.

Tre Moran slugged .561 in SEC play last year.
Against the best college pitching in the world

Holt had the only triple this spring.

Lots is going to change from fall to spring especially with a new coach. Players have done a lot of work behind the scenes to change swings and approaches. Same kind of idea for the pitchers. You’re putting way too much emphasis on the fall.

Not much love for Cranford on here, but he had a nice showing at the plate this spring and was outstanding defensively in the games I watched.

The bats are usually behind the pitchers right now

Safford gonna earn some playing time.
Also easy to see why dugas hasnt been mentioned with the other top guys

I’m not putting much stock in that at all, especially since he has struggled to keep the pace in the spring.
But Considering his competition has not hit at all, the bar isn’t exactly high when talking Catcher. His 8BB and 1 hit look better than .123

The high walks with McManus vs Milazzo is simply a product of pitchers going after one while being more careful with the other. I don’t think it separates either.

Well yea,
Good hitters walk a lot
Bad hitters don’t
One guy led the team is most hitting categories in the spring & one guy has hit .123

Have you been to any scrimmages this spring?

Is this like a troll thing you ask everyone ?

Are you talking about Doughty or Tre?
Posted on 2/14/22 at 8:44 pm to Lester Earl
No. Just curious how many scrimmages you have actually seen

Ah gotcha. You said in the spring so I was looking at the stats posted above. Hopefully he can get back to his fall numbers.
