Many thanks for the BPB.

You, wild, and Scuba are a staunch lineup.

Nawrocki Is making it tough to keep him out of the lineup come spring time.
He started off slow his first weekend but has turned it on since. He's looking good!

Thanks for the BPB.
Glad to do it. Unfortunately I'm gonna miss the next two weekends due to family obligations.

Ruckert catching

First, I've heard of this.
We've heard he was working at the position but this was the first time I saw it. He did a decent job keeping things in front of him IMO, because Stringer had some control issues.

My first time seeing Stringer pitch was today. He never hit 89 mph and has a flat fastball. Makes you wonder what kinda competition he faced in Mississippi to lead the nation in k’s. Maybe they told him to focus on location today…I dunno.

It looks as though the coaching staff may have him working on some things so today's outing may not reflect his entire repertoire. This is often the case in the fall practice session. We observed the same thing.

One thing that we also saw today again is that Plog continues to be used a couple of times in each weekend session. Colton Brady looks impressive as well.

Where would you start him, DH?

I agree. We are loaded in the outfield and I think Braun gets first shot at 1B. He will get his opportunities but will have to cut down on the swing and miss to stick somewhere

Scuba's comp for Stringer is a young Jordan Thompson. I trust his evaluation but unfortunately didn’t get to see Thompson pitch

That’s interesting. He was supposed to be topping out at 97 with plenty of frame to bulk up. It could be a slow ramp up or working on something, but that’s definitely a different scouting report.
