The more I read about this kid, the better I feel about him coming to LSU.

LINK

This link gives everyone a good idea of his abilities and where he lacks.

He isn't a fast guy but can hit the ball 600 feet. They compare him to Nelson Cruz but I watched his tape, he is more like Ryan Howard. He will hit 40 HR but also SO about 200 times a season.

If he makes it to campus he will play 1B.

Thoughts? Or should I say, Over/Under he makes it to LSU?

I seriously doubt he makes it to campus. The money will be thrown in his face and he will cave. First rounder.

I'd love to see him in a Tiger uniform but it won't happen.

His stock has dropped some, He may not be a first rounder at this point...but still shouldn't make it here.

You got in before me

Talked to 2 guys this past week and they told me it's looking more and more like he'll slip to rounds 1S or 2.

With that being said Justin deems signable and you have to question his motive of using wood bats if he's weighing both options seriously.

Without comparing the two this is basically your caliber Alex Bregman minus the injury his senior year. His hitting's not as flashy as Bregman's but his power is what teams will gamble on.

I think Longhi is the one we should watch. If there aren't any Hayden Jennings situations, we should be okay with the rest of the high school guys.

If he does drop that far, it's not out of the question for him to come here if he thinks he can eventually become a top 10 overall pick.

That's my point. He's stock keeps dropping.

He was a no doubter top 15 pick and is now a second rounder.

You don't drop that much that fast unless scouts see something they don't like.

He makes it on campus. Book it.

Save this thread, I'll change the title.

Please, can everyone stop with the "Need" the money crap.

Was anyone asking this for Alex Bregman or Zach Lee?

Why do black athletes always end up being no brainer signees? He makes it on campus. Facts

he's not rich if that's what you're asking.

but he's also not a poor living in the slums.
pretty much your average middle class type family.

if they throw mid 7 figures at him, that's a LOT of money to turn down.

True but MLB teams are less likely to waste a pick these days and tossing over slot money thanks to the new agreement.
