Actually there were plenty "good" enough that got drafted. They simply chose not to sign.
So because we have several talented and experience player returning combined with a top recruiting class "means we're gonna be good AF this year."

All the varsity athletes get probably thousands of dollars in free gear and clothes each year.
For baseball, this is just the stuff they're getting for the start off fall camp.
