Yeah, but this is Tiger Rant. You’re not allowed to say anything except blame aisstanf coaches or players. CPM is an elite motivator and recruiter. He’s great at teaching hitting and pitching and baserunning.

Next time you doubt him, just remember 2009.

What’s PM system that’s so difficult to teach the same hitters that were in the system before Ochinko took over? Ochinko shouldnt be in that position no doubt but don’t act like it’s somehow magically his fault. I just don’t think we have recruited good hitters period.

So, we should advocate for a pay cut?

Maybe so but after watching the first weekend of the CWS LSU as "Down as they are" this year are just two starting pitchers that could give them 6-7 innings from being just as good as any team there!

LSU could compete with any team at the CWS if they had a starting rotation without injuries!

Cannizzaro left during the fall. Despite making it to the finals offensive numbers were still down from the previous season and have continued to drop each of the last two seasons. Anyone that does think changes need to be made to this staff is seriously in denial!

New AD is a business man first and an LSU fan a close second. Baseball doesn’t make enough money for him to fire PM and then pay that buyout. We keep making regionals and supers...guess what, PM ain’t going anywhere. Stands are still full, we are winning, not paying that buyout PERIOD.

This makes sense but I also think anyone that thought Woodward was going to make a major change to baseball a couple months after getting the job is crazy. He is not impulsive. You want impulsive then go back and get Alleva. LSU hosted a regional and a super regional which means LSU hosted the maximum number of weekends it possible could have in its stadium. That is a win to a first year AD. Now if things don’t improve next year then he may decide on making some changes. He is going to see how the program is run year round to decide what is good or bad going forward.

Yes, The 90s are long gone. Roster and scholarship limits have changed the game. Good players are going all over these days because of this.

Changes can and should be made. There is definitely a philosophy issue when it comes to hitting. And pitching needs to be evaluated to see if there is something they can control causing these injuries.

I'm not buying that we're very far behind anyone consistently.

The SEC had four teams make the College World Series field this year. LSU went 7-6 against those four teams, and went 17-13 during the conference season in a conference that sent 10 teams to the post season, with 8 making the regional final and 6 going to Supers (counting LSU)...in a year where we all saw LSU struggle.

Throw in the Supers, and LSU is 7-8 against over half the field in Omaha. What a shitty team!

This program is not as bad as most here think.

Agreed. Also, I wonder where Michigan found that, dare I say, LH pitcher to shutout FSU. But LSU don't need no stinkin' LH Pitchers. If you don't believe me, just ask Paul
