Ya'll know I'm talking about ChenierauTigre. I just checked and she hasn't posted since October. I hope she's OK.

I'm not sure how relevant this is, but for the record, I always liked Ms. Pac-Man more than Pac-Man.

Thanks for listening. I just had to get that off my chest.

I'm far from OK with losing. I HATE losing but I'm not going to get upset and worried about losing one game. It happens in baseball and in the grand scheme of things this loss means absolutely NOTHING. What will mean something is how we bounce back. The game of baseball is all about how you process, manage and overcome failure. We were going to eventually lose a game at some point this season and it just may be better for this team to deal with that process now than to deal with it in the midst of SEC play when the losses DO matter.

As I've been saying we have the talent and talent works itself out in the end. I'll say that until I feel like it no longer needs to be said

Not trying to be a dick, but this has to be one of the dumber baseball related comments I have read on here.

No one has ever gone undefeated and no one ever will. The best MLB teams still lose 60 games a season. 20 wins in the SEC still TYPICALLY wins the SEC, that means losing 10 games out of 30. Winning series is important in baseball. Win 2 games out of 3. Losing one game no matter who the opponent is, is NEVER concerning.

Trends can be concerning. Example, I think continuing to bunt Laird and others every single time there is a runner on first base with less than 2 outs is a disturbing trend. Another trend, is our Sunday starter's inability to get thru the fifth inning. Not ragging on the kid, as this was his second start, but we will need to have a guy that we can depend on to get thru more than 4 innings in the SEC on Sundays because Nola and Eades aren't going to be able to be lights out every time out. This is a slight concern, but I think this will work itself out. Losing one game is never a concern in baseball.

The best thing about baseball, you usually only have to wait 24 hours to go at it again, as opposed to waiting a week. Lets go get em tomorrow

Still surprising the lack of baseball sense for an LSU fan base. 2/3 is what almost all coaches want each weekend series.

Try 28-2 on the last Saturday of the regular season. They won Sunday to win the Conference Championship, however.
The teams you mentioned all had something in common: they HIT the ball.

Made my first game of the year. Have we been bunting the next guy after someone gets on first in all the other games this year?

Some of you just don't get it. You can't even begin to compare the way the teams in the nineties and early 2000's hit the ball. It is a completely different era. The days of hitting all those home runs are long gone. This team is hitting .291with an OBP of .391 which is pretty damn good as a team. They have scored 38 runs in 7 games, and that is without the benefit of batting nine times in most of the games. They have a grand total of 19 strikeouts through 7 games. Some of you need to get your head out of the weeds and realize the game just isn't the same as it used to be. You aren't going to see a team launch a hundred home runs a year.

I wasn't talking about Home Runs, I was talking 1-9, all could pound the ball, not bloop singles.
Take away the 14 run game against Maryland and your 38 runs in 7 are a not as impressive 4rpg, against not exactly sterling competition.

ok well I actually gave stats and then you take away games to try and make the stats look worse. The competition is irrelevant. We have faced some good pitching so far. You are one of those guys that think just because it is BYU or Maryland means they must suck.

Have you been to a game yet?

I wouldn't call the weather exactly optimal for baseball. Every game but one has been cold and windy.

The bats have a lot to do with your bloop single theory. The game has changed and some people obviously do not understand that.

Some fans are never fricking happy...
