Anyone complaining has a room temp IQ. Win those 2 and LSU is #5 minimum. Then they'll have leeway to get in if they drop the TN game.

Both games won’t be close

Bama by 10, Texas by 24+

Texas will be a Clemson style blowout

It works because we get to play both of them.

But let's say they weren't on our schedule and we had Georgia/Florida instead, I'd be pretty heated. I'd love to hear the explanation of Bama at 5 and us 9 spots behind them. But to circle back, who cares. Just win baby.

The Vols need to keep winning until we meet them.

Damn. So you have LSU finishing 8-4?

Logic would dictate that, but I have a suspicion that's not the way it would go. The rankings proved it yesterday, that committee loves Bama and does not like LSU. The thing that sucks is that if ND loses to Miami, they're out, but that spot is going to end up going to a 3 loss Bama.

We are in a great position to flush the national bias for Bama AND Texas.

Then on to Rotten Top to

LSU better not be listening to all the media. BAMA, Texas, TENN are not A&M, MSU, Auburn. LSU has beaten the bottom dwellers. Time to see what they really have. At least two of the big games are at home.

Texas will also most likely be top 5 if they win this week, so that would be two top 5 teams in a row.

LSu has no leg to stand on because we have no significant wins yet. Win the next 3 and you should be golden.

A Tennessee win over Kentucky would be great this weekend. That’s if we beat bama of course.

I thought the game times were changed and got jazzed by your topic, but it was just about irrelevant rankings that no one will remember after Saturday.

Bama could've been 20th, and it still wouldnt matter.l for LSU. "Win and you"re in" would still be the reality.

What I took from Bama being 5th and Texas at 7... they are trying to set both of them up to get in with 3 losses. If Bama, UK, Ole Miss, and ND lose this weekend, Bama still may be in the top 12 next week. Texas will move up to 5 or 6 in next week rankings.

TX has no cakewalk this w/e either. Mizzou at home could tag them.

We want Texas to win as well. Especially this weekend. But I selfishly want them to win against Missouri to almost guarantee we get a night game vs them on 11/14.

Thats true... but I wouldnt put my money on Drinkwitz winning a huge game this late in the year.

I think the Tennessee is the thoughest game left on the schedule, so I would say we want a down/wounded Vawls not a they win the next two and it is a fight for a playoff spot on the line when we roll into Rocky Top for a cold night game!

Texas, while inept on offense most of the time, has a very good defense. I don't think we'll blow them out.
