It's what Mascona is saying and he of course says he is getting it from big money donors in the know directly who have told him there is "donor fatigue".
Something tells me they'll find a way. I just can't see how they can go to the fan base and say we're going to continue in this direction...they have already lost most of it.....the basketball fan base that is.

Worst news for LSU Softball fans...if Beth isn't run out of here! She's been milking it for years now, and still can't put a championship calibrer team together.

I can’t imagine they’ll drag this out another year.

Whatever "source" youre listening to is getting their info from mascona who has been carrying mcmahons water for the last few years. From what I have gathered they are friends. But at first mascona insisted he was a good coach, he was just in a terrible spot bc of wade. Then he insisted the team was terrible because they didnt have any NIL. Then he ran with the narrative that mcmahon is a good coach, just unlucky. Now hes pushing that lsu doesn't have the money to fire him. I think mascona just needs to be prepared to lose his buddy at the end of the season because its happening no matter what shite he tries to push out there

Yea its funny how this unlucky narrative is starting to just get slammed on this board and online all of sudden.
Just keep in mind if we didn't get curb stomp at home by an 11 win team and a 12 win team, CMM probably would be keeping his job.

Why not? The LSU athletic department has already proven they have no issues spitting in the faces of their own basketball fans. I’m just counting on him being here his full contract and if he’s canned before then, I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
The LSU men’s basketball program is not a serious one.
