If LSU beats Georgia, there is no way they get left out for a team they just beat…

Georgia - beat GT, & they are in. No matter what.

Ohio St. - win out & in. Lose & out.

Michigan - win out and in. Lose & out.

TCU - win out and in. Lose & out.

USC - win out & in. Lose & out.

LSU - win out and hope one team loses.

Clemson - last 1 loss team in. LSU over them if LSU wins out.

The biggest debate will be if TCU loses 1 game and LSU & USC win out. I believe the committee wants a PAC - 12 team in due to the history of leaving them out.

Depends on the win. Is it overtime ? Do we blow them out ?
If it's overtime or last second field goal for the win you have a chance of both going depending on how the other teams fair.

PAC is at a huge disadvantage because Ga blew out Oregon and Fla beat Utah.

TCU or USC need to lose for LSU to make it.

UGA gets in win or lose SEC championship.

OSU/UM knock each other out. (Although wouldn’t surprise me to still see a push for OSU to still make it as a 1 loss team so ideally OSU beats Michigan)

1. OSU/UM
2. UGA
3. TCU
4. USC

5. LSU

Yea UGA would only drop 1 spot with a loss. TCU or USC need to lose, but that’s all secondary as LSU just needs to win and let that work itself out.

best analysis yet....

but I could see a scenario whereby UGA gets left out if what you posted happens.

You would have one loss conf champs:
Ohio State
TCU
USC
Clemson

LSU would be the only 2 loss conf champ.

UGA sitting as the only 1 loss team without a conf champ.

We won't. UGA loses they're still getting in over us.

We need either TCU or USC to lose PLUS winning the SEC.

This should really be obvious to all of you by now.

Bottom line is we need to win out + we're rooting for losses by TCU, USC and Clemson, and an Ohio St curb-stomping of Michigan.

If winning the SEC gives you a bad feeling it might be time for a little break.

When we beat UGA who is clearly the best team in football it will make absolute chaos. Which makes sports awesome.

I’d love to be a fly on the wall in the voting room when these people discuss the final playoff teams. I bet they have some interesting conversations to back each viewpoint.

If LSU beats Georgia and gets snubbed a CFP spot and Georgia wins it all, you pull a UCF and claim a championship.

1 big 10 champ if OSU or Michigan
2 TCU if they win out
3 UGA
4 down to USC LSU Clemson, OSU/Michigan loser

Notre dame over USC helps
TCU losing one game helps. They may not be in UGAs same situation as a loss could keep them out.

We still need help to get in.

Just gross ESPN.. you've already spelled out the reason why. But then you go on slobber all over USC with BS.

"What the CFP selection committee will do: Put LSU at No. 5 over USC

What the CFP selection committee should do: Put USC at No. 5 over LSU

TLDR:
Initial rankings had USC > LSU, the teams flipped after LSU's W Ala.
USC > cause road victories UCLA & Ore St.
LSU road victories Ark & Fl & are hurt by TENN flubbed their road games
LSU 2nd best win is Ole Miss but Arky tore them up
LSU is more balanced than USC, but USC has a better "road" profile.

So two other 1-loss P5 champions (ACC and Pac12) are getting left out for 1)a 1-loss uga that didn't win anything, and 2)a 2-loss LSU? that isn't happening

Thank you.

Someone makes up something around here and it tickles their ears, so the next poster states it as fact.

I'm not sure if USC is win out and in. If we win out we will have wins vs UGA and Bama both top 10 teams in the CFP rankings. USC would have none. That might mean something to the committee.

Not saying we have a better chance than USC but it's not clearly they win out and they are in.
