I read something just awhile ago that said the Governor will decide what Tiger Stadium capacity is while we are in phase 2.

Wonder if they’ll let me wait outside until someone leaves at halftime. Then I can Take their spot.

Go for it but 60,000 in Tiger Stadium right now while high school kids can’t even play sports makes zero sense.

60% capacity would mean alot of people sitting less than 6 feet apart. Seating in tiger stadium isn’t exactly spread out.

If each seat is 2 feet wide (being generous) then to follow 6 ft distancing guidelines there has to be 3 empty seats between each spectator. That means 1 out of every 4 seats per row gets used.

Then each row might be 3 feet deep, that means two empty rows... or 1 in 3 being used.

All of that means 1 out of 12 seats with a soectator to follow proper distancing guidelines. I am laughing my arse off at them talking about 60% capacity. 10% would be far more accurate if they olan to follow guidelines. If they are hellbent on making money and dont care about guidelines 60 % it is.

I thought we were in phase II. Did I miss the reverse course to phase I?

Judging by responses on this board A LOT of people are either asking for refunds or pushing payments to '21.

The subject line confused me since we're in phase II.

Saw this on FB, I laughed.

“3 weeks before the season have everyone pack tiger Stadium 100k +. Everyone gets the Rona, quarantine for 3 weeks and then boom, a herd immunity”

You’re missing a large part of the equation. Members of the same party don’t have to be 6 feet apart. If you roll into a restaurant with 3 buddies they don’t sit the 4 of you at separate tables.

I don’t think we get 60% in the stadium but it’ll be more than 10% or we just won’t have fans at all

Agreed if they consider tiger stadium a restaurant as you suggest, it would be closer to 30%. If its more like a bar it will be just a straight 25 or 50%, whatever they choose. If its 6 feet apart, its 10%. 60% is every other seat on every row plus some. I just dont see how that fits the intent of the requirements every other business in la has had to follow.

I could see the 60%+ rule working if they allow families to sit together.
