After easing the true freshman into the fold with 14 carries for 46 yards in the first 2 games, he's started carrying the load with 60 carries for 386 yards over the last 3 games

Arkansas 20 carries 146 yards
South Carolina 16 carries 111 yards 1TD
Ole Miss 24 carries 129 yards 2TD

6.4 yards per carry over that stretch and he's breaking a ton of tackles...

You can see a lot of that in action against Arkansas. Lots of brushing off 1st contact or bouncing outside and picking up extra yardage.

They are gonna do to us in the run game what we did to USCe.

Hopefully our QB can keep up.

If we hold him to only atleast 100 yards that should be a win, and a win for the defense as a whole.

Missouri's coach is a Malzahn disciple. I thought he did a really good job in that game exploiting LSU's linebackers and confusing the defense in general with motion.

Auburns offense hasn't been anything particularly special this year but for a defense that's often found itself out of position and busted several coverages this year, Going against Malzahn/Morris as play callers gives you some pause

He is not the concern. Our ability to execute a tackle is the concern.

If he played for Bama or Georgia he'd be a Heisman candidate

Load the box and play man on the back end. We have to put the game on Nix’s arm and not let their run game go crazy.

Both are concerns. Bigsby is a legit SEC back.

at the beginning of the year it looked like a committee year for them and didn't look great at all. But Tank has pulled away. And he is gonna be the next great Auburn running back. They really know how to get them. And once Malhzahn finds a workhorse he trusts... he rides him. He may not this year, but he will lead the league in rushing the next two years.

Honestly may be the 2nd best RB in NCAA this year behind Etienne. He's incredible. Also had a kickoff return vs ole miss that was called back on a bullshite holding that wasn't really a holding 15 yards behind him. Dude is a stud and very scary. I have a bad feeling about this game. Especially at Jordan Hare

He has good balance. If you tackle him high and don't wrap up, he breaks free. You have to take his legs out. Forget trying to hit him high and knock him down.

Sounds like we need Stephens in the box

Stevens at LB would be the perfect answer for this.

LSU needs to load up the box and play man to man on the outside and make Bo Nix and his receivers try to beat Stingley, Ricks, and company. If LSU can even contain the run just a little bit (I know that’s asking a lot after watching this defense all year) it’ll be a long night for Auburn and Bo Pix trying to contain the LSU pass rush and keep up because LSU will score points. Could’ve really used Kary Vincent in this matchup (could’ve really used him all year) vs Schwartz in the slot.

With the way our LBs and safeties have been playing, this kid is going to run all over us.
