There's no doubt Jayden is going to destroy our defense

This is exactly where we are and where we will be.

This offense is on a historic pace at LSU second only to a Joe Burrow lead juggernaut. With avg defensive play this team is at worst 5-1 and in the conversation and likely favored to win the West again.

Kelly knew all along this team wasn't gonna need good enough. He told us as much when he said they are atleast another year away.

Most thought it was because the offense would be held back back last years JD

that should be the game plan every week.
just blitz the hell out of them and take whatever chances you want in the secondary to create turnovers. If we aren't going to stop them from scoring, we might as well take our chances to create some turnovers by guessing what they'll do under pressure.

Remember the greatest team ever also had an outstanding Special Teams unit. Can't remember a kickoff being returned, really great place kicker and overall smart play by that group. Our Special Teams are greatly improved from 2022, but the difference in outcomes over a 15 game championship season can be altered by very few miscues.

We need to really, really sell out on the blitz this week. Thorne looked beyond incompetent when pressured by a&m.

House and Kelly hate getting pressure on the QB. It may end up being a 35-28 game. Kelly said after the Missouri game in press conference that they didnt want to send more than 4 as it puts them in unfavorable matchups. That was the game plan going in.

With this mindset we may be in serious trouble.

What's plan A?

The same thing, but limit their offense to 400 total yards instead of 600.

I can't recall another guy who runs so fast while making it look so effortless. freeze is right. It just looks like he's jogging. Yet, he's outrunning SEC DBs and LBs with ease.

Maybe more remarkable his his vision and feel for defenders around his feet. He has an innate ability to almost "feel" those guys and just step through would be tackles...even when they are seemingly diving at him from behind. On the big 3rd down run late in the game with LSU trailing 39-35 he just effortlessly jumped over the LSU lineman that was laying on the ground and kept going. All while shaking off would be tackles. I would imagine 95% of QBs would have tripped over the lineman. Daniels just jumped over him like it was no big deal.

It is such a shame his efforts may all be in vain (at least with respect to great team success) because the defense and defensive staff can't field a unit that is even just average. Hell, slightly below-average would even be good enough at this point.

I won’t be surprised to see a few questionable late hits on JD by Auburn. Take out JD and the advantage swings to Aubbie. Hell the SEC office has probably already put in the order.

If Kelly knew this defense was going to be one of the absolute worst in the country then that is a HUGE indictment on him and his defensive staff. Relative to how well the offense is playing the bar for what would constitute success on defense is incredibly low.

Yes, LSU had more personnel loses on defense going into this season. Yes, this isn't the most individually talented defense LSU has ever fielded. But if after two recruiting seasons and the ability to take advantage of the transfer market to fill holes Kelly, and a returning DC, couldn't find anyway to be better than LITERALLY the second worse defense among all major conference teams, that is a big fricking problem that the apologist refuse to accept.

There is a difference between not having the guys to be among the best in the country and being one of the absolute worst in the country. Sorry. Kelly doesn't get a pass there

Hugh Freeze? Yikes! I forgot he was the new coach at Auburn. Freeze and Kiffin (Lane) are both up and coming coaches in the SEC. LSU better bring their "A" Game.

He epitomizes the saying he looks like he’s gliding out there.

He’s also like burrow and fights and lowers his shoulder for extra yards. Probably too much lol.

Kid is tough as nails and I really hope we don’t waste it.

He and the whole offense deserve another shot in Atlanta.

You don’t build the chemistry him and the receivers have without hard work and extra reps

In a few years? They have 2 losses halfway through the season, so I felt pretty comfortable realizing that 8 days ago.

You can pick about 18 or 19 defenses that LSU fielded from 2000-2023 and you pair them with this offense and this years team is a title contender.

Auburn has the Worse passing attack in the entire SEC . They rely on their running game. They are also last in total offense in the SEC. Last in overall Defense also.

I look for a close game.

Not kidding
