All of these kids think they are NFL players. Most of them will never make it though.

It’s not going to get Ugky. One thing BK does well is get player buy in.

We will lose Stamps, Gilbert, and K. Jackson.

He’ll get the extra year to mature physically.

This was going to happen if we were 7-0 right now. He got passed up on the depth chart by Woodland and Pickett who will probably be your starters next year. He needs to go somewhere that he can play.

College football kind of sucks now

Kind of? This college model is now 10 times worse than the NFL. Thought I’d never see that day.

Picket and Woodland are coming back. The guy needs to go find somewhere to play.

Right.

Deion Sanders was just celebrated for this type of thinking last week, nationally, with his transfer portal scrimmage, but I'm sure Brian Kelly will be dogged for it and it'll be presented as some sort of crisis with players jumping ship.
The media hates Kelly, and the media doesn't hate Deion. Pretty simple.

For reference, Dana Holgerson allowed starting QB D'Eriq King to redshirt 4 games into the season, because it was his final year and the team started 1-3. I mean this is completely insane, but he let him do it. Nobody ripped him to shreds for his decision except for maybe Houston fans.

He's not gonna see the field. Delane, Woodland, and Pickett are all better than him.

Ashton Stamps will be lucky to end up at La Tech. That CB class was weak that LSU signed that year. Tryon Hughes nor Ashton Stamps are major FBS caliber CBs. And Toriano I believe was also in that class and is another secondary guy who was overrated. Hard to blame coaching on this one since the ones brought in from the portal and Pickett have been fine. Woodland has even been pretty good. LSU just missed on multiple secondary players in that class. Stamps is near the top of the list.

He was not getting playing time because he was replaced by better cornerbacks. Thus he was down on the NIL totem pole.

Stamps is leaving because he isn’t SECOND starter quality. He played for us out of necessity from numbers. I actually forgot his name until today.

A spot for someone else just opened up. This is not a bad thing.

He's a Jr who isn't playing at all. Gee, I wonder why he left.

He won't lose a year of eligibility by sitting out and can go on visits and be recruited again.

Yeah I obviously get that.

Again, our secondary needs guys next year and he gets Corey Raymond / Blake Baker.

I can understand he’s upset not playing this year but then to quit mid season just to hope he’s in a better situation?

Not saying it won’t happen but bad advice…
