You realize he has only been a head coach for 1 previous season.

Go find every coach with lesser resources that wins more games. Start with Coastal Carolina
Imagine having 307 other programs to pick from and you pick the retard who got rung for arguing balls and strikes in the 1st inning of the deciding game of the National Championship

All those lesser resources down the drain because a near-50 year old doesn’t know how to control feral instincts over something trivial. Definitely worthy of consideration by a program like LSU

Retard

I think the frustration is being amplified because of the fact that
A. Football and basketball shite the bed this year so fans were already hungry and banking on a winning product to be put on the field.
B. The opponent we lost to and how we did it. Sucks for Jay, cause it’s a completely different sport, but getting swept, and blown out, including a mercy rule, to a rival that is foaming at the mouth to talk shite, doesn’t help.

JJ missed on the transfer portal with hitters, he did not forget to coach. He had a lot to replace. Last year he hit on Dickinson and Hernandez. In 2025 he hit on Tommy white. It is what it is. He has to keep coaching and at least try to turn it around, but I think he realizes this class was a dud. He will have to pivot with quickness after this year and purge some of this roster.

Also, I don’t think yeskie is some savior of a pitching coach. Kade and Eyanson were pretty much developed and turnkey. I’ve yet to really see him take a raw product and teach them how to command and locate pitches.

This guy Eli Manning’d a couple of rings and you got people still claiming he’s the best coach in baseball when he’s not. And his 3 bad years prove it. Eli Manning was never the best QB in the NFL. Ever. Even with 2 super bowls. Same can be said for Johnson.

It doesn’t look like whining about rev share and resources which if you’re paying attention has been JJ’s focus last 6 months instead of getting this team ready.

There needs to be a combination of public apologies, tough love meetings with players, discussions with Verge and key donors on the fix moving forward with a commitment to never let this happen again. Then we’ll know we’re on the road to recovery.

you believe this is his focus? lol.

you said he can’t focus on this.

If you don’t believe JJ is trying everything at his disposal to fix this team, you are wrong. He has tried to address every deficit.

The obvious root cause is personnel. Not coaching. And reading between the lines, we were not able to attract the players we needed due to revenue share and money. But you have said he can’t mention it.

Dumbest post I’ve seen over the past few days.

With conclusions like that, you won’t have a bright future with any role that requires people skills. Stick to video games.

He def lost all his ability to evaluate talent and every bit of his coaching ability. It’s been so long since he’s had any success or national accolades. The game must have passed him by.

How do you people actually type this kind of shite out with a straight face?

Who is responsible for personnel?

Did our NIL drop so far so fast that McNeese ULL Bethune Cookman were suddenly flush in comparison?

This is a really stupid way to frame an argument.

The personnel doesn't need to drop to a point where the talent is equal. It only needs to drop to a point where unmotivated talent doesn't match highly motivated lesser talent.

You can't discount the motivative factor of beating the reigning national champions. And you can't discount how difficult it can be for an SEC team to get excited to play a bunch of also-rans.

Sometimes, the motivation doesn't matter because the talent level is so disparate that we can roll out of bed and 10 run rule those teams. This year, it's not.
