As much as O has earned the right to be trusted, this hire is a huge stretch IMO. Downvote me all you want, but your wearing rose-colored glasses. The good news is, a PGC isn't a position that makes/breaks you, Brady was the exception not the rule.

Just like in 2019, in 2020 Ensminger will call the plays.

Good thing he’s not being asked to be an OC or even a primary play caller

You contradicted yourself, talk about being a bad hire but then go on to say it's just a PGC

so what does his playcalling have to do with being a PGC? Seems like you know the answer, nothing

Was he really though?

Kirby Smart said LSU isn't inventing rocket science as far as football goes they just have the horses to execute it better than anyone else.

After the game in his interview, Joe Brady said the same exact thing.

SEC Network video:
2 1/2 minute video - GEORGIA HEAD COACH KIRBY SMART EXPLAINS THAT THE TIGERS AREN'T RUNNING SPECIAL SCHEMES OR PLAYS, THEY ARE JUST EXECUTING WITH HIGHLY EFFICIENT PLAYERS.

For some stupid reason, idiot Kirby Smart thinks the forward pass existed in college AND pro football before Joe Brady. What a MORON, huh?

Brady was predictable as hell, we just executed and coached a scheme that college defenses could not defend with our personnel, the players changing will have much more of an impact than Brady leaving.

It is the Jimmies and Joes.

So when his players were healthy the offense performed better and when guys with lesser skill had to play the offense was worse?

This would apply to damn near every team in the league.

I’m not sure whether this is a good or bad hire. But, you’re little clipping of that article is ridiculous. You do realize this man has been at the helm of some of the most prolific passing attacks the nfl has seen right? His only stop wasn’t just in Dallas. And the comical ending to the quote you posted...his offense seem to take a step back when missing its star players? Hahaha. Yeah and water hit me and i got wet.

LES MILES IS NOT THE HEAD COACH ANYMORE

LINEHAN IS NOT THE OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR

We all want and prob expected O to go after a young, innovative coach to be second coming of Brady. Those just don’t grow on trees. Linehan isn’t coming in to redevelop the wheel. He’s got expertise and can help out with an offense already installed.

Let's name all the OCs that are awesome when their best players are hurt.

Predictable play calling is bad weather you are conservative or aggressive.

Sean Payton has been very predictable at times.

Defenses knew what he was going to call just by the personnel he had on the field.

That’s why the Saints have struggled in post season.

Steve Ensminger is a very underrated play caller.

I thought he did very well in our old offense....think about what he did in Joe Burrows first year.

Well, me and the OP know for a fact that if Burreaux, Ja'Marr, Justin and CEH were all injured and not playing at the same time that Super Joe-B would have dramatically increased LSU's offensive numbers during that time. The great players were actually holding Joe Brady back.

So, what I got from your article was "that it worked WELL when the "named" players were at the top of their game.

Do you think our star studded players will perform at the top of their game? I do.

Also,
he is NOT calling plays, so you're whole argument is filled with holes.
