He didn’t want to commit to staying at Ole Miss until he knew he had a playoff team locked up. He knows if he doesn’t make the playoffs this year it would be much easier to do it at LSU. This is why he waited until after the egg bowl to decide.

Where is the best place to pick up gold gear?

Yes I did think it was the best hire compared to what we had hired in the last 40 years outside of Saban. However, I was fooled by the impressive resume and didn’t realize he was so bad in big games at the time. Still given the options LSU has when we fire coaches, he was one of the better options without taking a chance on an up and comer.

I think everyone here thinks that LSU gets to pick whatever coach they want and that everyone would willingly leave and come coach here and that just has not been the case over and over again.

Every time we fire someone we seemingly get played by the bigger names, Tom Herman/Lincoln Riley. I mean we fired our head coach to promote our defensive coordinator to HC, because we couldn’t get any coaches to take the job. And we lucked into a NC with Joe Burrow.

What time do they normally arrive?

I know this topic has been beaten to a pulp, but LSU reporters keep letting him off the hook. At his presser, they asked him why didn't he kneel it on 3rd down, instead of stating a more straight forward question.

Why not simply ask him, given that you kicked the field goal, why did you choose to leave time on the clock?

I still don't think he realizes that he could have left no time on the clock.

Nonsense. Jimbo specifically said that all of the 5 stars running to college station has zero to do with NIL. Saban has preached that NIL is being applied in a way that was never intended so you know his ethics and principles will prevent him from recruiting players using NIL in any manner other that it was originally intended.
