Robbed someone. Not necessarily him. He didn't win the NCAAs with a much bigger competitive advantage. Came in second to an American. Pole vaulting isn't like running events.

He probably would have if they didn't force everyone to compete at nationals for a spot. One bad day and it's 4yrs down the drain. There's no reason the current World Record holder should have to compete for a spot. Some of the spots should be awarded by coaches like they do in gymnastics.
