I would still rather Mayers until he walked someone over eventually going to guys like Schmidt.

We need arms to get outs. We need to be able to count at these guys at certain points.

Arkansas is a good team that doesn't need 4 or 5 walks to help them out.... Tigers still have 3 outs left

Based on this tiny sample size, it is clear that Fontenot is the answer to the bullpen woes going forward. Signed: The Rant

Someone will probably start a thread to make him the Saturday starter.

Noot and Cowan were never pitching today.

They should have been available for a batter or two. There are no guarantees on the road, even vs a bad team. A win today puts us a step closer to a top 8 seed.

Come on, man. You get it to one run and the pen needs to just hold the fricking line, not run a fricking merry go round.

I agree but you can’t place the blame solely on the bullpen. Facing the best lineup in the league.

Who is acting like that?

Or are people acting like they wanted to keep a one-run lead heading to B9 instead of giving up several runs?
you posted a dramatic, all cap, double spaced
"THROW

STRIKES

BRUH"

bullshite. That was you. The guys you were yelling at had thrown 6+ strikes to multiple batters and then ended up walking guys. They were throwing strikes. You were acting like they didn't.

The last two times he’s come in, he’s closed innings. He should at least be a little higher up the pen pecking order if he can do that.

I’m not melting about that. I’m pissed that our pitchers are coming in and giving free passes and walking in runs.

Schmidt is lucky he didn't clear the bases on that one pitch hit foul because that thing was smoked and I thought it was gone as soon as he hit it.
