On a normal base hit, Tre probably safe easily. But that was an absolute rocket. RF had the ball when Tre was on 2nd

Uh oh, looks like he still is feeling it

Lol frick off. That was good aggressive baserunning, only a perfect throw gets him.

Is Tre still nicked? Thought that was Tommy White rounding 2nd

I said the exact same thing. They just missed hitting both of them

I promise you Ty Floyd has thrown over 100 pitches in his baseball career multiple times. Just because it’s not the norm today, doesn’t mean guys can’t do it without falling apart. We need to take some (smart) risks if we want to sweep this DH.

I wouldn’t send him back out
I’m not gonna use hindsight and say “I told you so.” (Huge fricking DP right there). I thought it was a tough call. Those 2 insurance runs mitigated the risk and made the decision easier on Jay. Paid off. But I wouldn’t have really argued if he’d had pulled him.
After that quick inning, if we get a couple more insurance runs, do you get greedy and run him back out there again? Or just be thankful he managed to get through 6 without giving up anymore than the 2 runs in the 1st?

Nippolt needs to relieve White at third.

Yeah, he’s cramping

Tommy needs to sit.
Yeah, I didn't like that little wince after the swing. Got him a sac fly, now get Nippolt in for defense.

Damn that was a good throw from RF

Alight put Nippolt in at 3rd and get Tommy an IV.

Nice job by White to get the run scored without having to bring in a PR
Posted on 3/25/23 at 3:11 pm to Hot Carl
Perfect place for that sac fly to move both runners up and only 1 out still
Posted on 3/25/23 at 3:11 pm to CheerWhine
Tommy White seems a little off in the head... which is a good thing in baseball.
