Legitimate health concerns. I’ll leave it there. I went from being legitimately mad at the kid and Coach O to feeling like a dick

If that was the case why did O throw him to the wolves publicly and let everybody think he's soft. All the former players bashing him yesterday was directly because of O's "his body hurts" comment.

If there's legitimate health concerns, you'd think O covers for him and gives him a soft landing during all this blowback. "He's dealing with issues bigger than football. Great kid, great teammate, great competitor who wants to be out there". Compare that to his body hurts, he's considering opting out but we'll welcome him back.

I think there's almost a 0% chance that he comes back. He probably already knows where he is transferring.

We are talking about the man that blew up our culture in a few words in one interview, threw unnecessary shade at Aranda, and let’s his nudes leak. Coach O isn’t very tactful.

Ole DP is doing a terrible job with PR this year.

Second, what about Joe Burrow?

Jesus. Talk about apples to oranges.

One is a starting TE actually putting up decent numbers as a freshman despite major issues at the qb position.

The other is an upperclassman down to basically his last shot to make a name for himself before fading into obscurity.

Why does random Michigan fan California living HailHail try to be the gate-keeper to discussion on every board?

Did Tyrann Mathieu want to come back to the team? Regardless that it never happened.

So the medical issue is weed?

"Opting out" for a first suspension due to a failed piss test makes no sense. That's a one game thing.

He did until him and JJ got popped smoking weed by the police and tried to run away. LSU figured that was pretty much a sign he was never going to learn while at LSU.

There’s a common thread, but the situations are far from apples to apples.

It also ties into the Stingley reaction from week 1 apparently. Although this part specifically is more speculative.

Facts are. He is in town. Is not in the transfer portal. Has a medical issue.

Yes, until he got arrested. Mathieu was going to LSU games as a regular student after he was kicked off the team before the season and had planned to come back in 2013.

Weed makes no sense given what's being said.

he wanted to play. he saw the writing on the wall. you can't compare a freshmen starter to a junior backup
