I know it's one game at a time but I heard about this game on the sports station and they were mentioning how they have one of the most prolific offenses in the nation with a possible first round qb coming back. Are you guys worried at all? It seems like a possible trap game coming the week before UF.

Edit: why was this thread anchored? It was a legit question about an opponent?

Someone will come in here and drop a "muh Troy loss", but the Tigers should cruise through this one.

Utah St has a defender that could possibly wreak havoc on our offense by himself. Rest of the D is good, but if we can execute we should run away with that.

I'd be lying if I said I thought it was as taken care of as Ga Southern.

Not if we play like we should. If we play like we did against Troy we'll lose like we did to Troy.

Of note: HC Gary Anderson was the DC of the Utah team that beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.

Not at all. They have a great offense and it's a game right before UF.

Nah, not worried. Love is a good QB, but he's one of only two returning starters on their offense.

I think Utah State will end up having a nice season, and I wouldn't be shocked if they caused us some problems in the 1st half, but this doesn't feel like a trap game.

More worried about Utah State than Texas.

Utah has steadily built an EXTREMELY solid team over the past handful of years and put a lot of good players into the pros. They are a really good team.

I don’t see Texas threatening us at all

Worried about injuries to our key players, but not about the outcome of the game.

When was the last time Vandy was second in the NCAA in scoring?

But to answer your question. When Franklin was at Vandy and Richt was our coach

Well that certainly changes things a bit. Looks like there's no need to worry then. I thought it was the other way around and they were bringing back 9 starters.

It’s definitely a game, like Ga. Southern, that can be tricky? This is a team that won 11 games a year ago. You will get their best shot!
