Are we committed to a dual threat QB instead of the best player?
Posted by Solo Cam on 9/6/22 at 5:16 pm2281
90 yards passing down by 2 scores in the 4th and you never even thought about going to Nuss?
Running game was non-existent outside of Jaden scrambles.
Entire offense was anemic. Was the competition close or not? Did he just take valuable reps away from the starter?
Are we playing the best player or are we playing the best fit?

Jayden Daniels is good

We had 13 hand offs. Of course the running game was non existent. The coaches didn’t call it.

He's awesome against prevent defense. 55% of his passing yards came on the final drives against it...

Denbrock isn’t the answer. TBD if CBK can hire elite coordinators

So you feel like Nuss is the best player based on what? Potential

We completed 73%. 80% if we could catch

Daniels is the starter so let’s highlight what he does well. Did anybody watch Richardson at Florida and how he was used to create holes and cutback lanes for the running backs? That’s how you use Daniels, not dropping him back to pass 55 times.
Defense giving up every 3rd down all game until the end is why we were losing.
QB in reality wasn’t the total issue.
How about defense and special teams?
Oh yeah and time in the backfield to throw the ball.
I like Nuss by the way.

Then Daniels 0 passing yards in the first quarter had me curious about Nuss
Call me unrealistic but I expected at least 3 or 4 yards passing in the entire first quarter

To run an actual offensive system and not a scramble drill every play

I liked the QB. Thought Denbrock sucked arse until late in the 3rd.

No it wasn't. 2 of our 3 first have drives we got inside the 10. On the other one, we got at least one first down.

Our last three drives went for touchdowns. When, exactly, in the 4th quarter should Daniels have been benched?
Our second half drives went punt, touchdown, touchdown, touchdown.
We simply didn't get a lot of possessions but you idiots want to just focus on passing yardage "through 3 quarters" because it fits your narrative.

Imagine questioning a $100 Million Guarantee…

Are you really trying to compare these two players?
