Meaning its the most pitcher friendly park of all the regionals. 22% less runs than average

Does that take into account the pitching staff or is that just about the park?

I think he meant higher in elevation than BR so thinner air but I doubt that makes a significant difference.

Yeah I don't think 100 ft is going to make a noticeable difference

Seems like it’s a bigger park

It's the exact dimensions of the box, but 10 feet longer on the foul lines. Really a non-factor IMHO

It’s a little bit hilly in Mississippi, so that might contribute

We're not talking about Denver here.

Gee, I hope there's oxygen in the dugout.

the wind will be a bigger influence than the dimensions of the park itself.

All I know is that everyone prefers a smaller box.

Not really. It all depends on how big a bat your swinging.

Park factor is just based on every team that has played there and divides their runs scored there vs their runs scored in other parks on average.
It does this for southern miss l, all of their opponents in that park.

The factor im referencing is based on a 5 year sample. But its possible its closer to normal (100) late in the year and worse early on

Lefties should have fun
The outfield dimensions are exactly symmetrical.

Righties should have fun there too, employing your logic.

This reminded me of this story…

My now x wife (no pics) once asked me while we were standing on a beach in Costa Rica how high in elevation we were.

Bitches are dummmmmmb.

The distance between fans and opposing players in various stadiums for football is interesting. One that comes to mind is Oklahoma State. Their fans are extremely close to the sidelines. There isn’t much space.

Actually did, summer of 2008 recruiting camp when Corky was still there. It’s not impressive nor a flex. Was just giving context that a no-body can go yard in Hattiesburg
