Anyone think Peetz doesn’t have the full Offense installed yet?

Maybe they were ready to roll with Brennen, but had to scale it back with the injury. Also, the O line doesn’t look like it could handle what is currently installed.

Go watch this film breakdown.

I thought the entire O Line was a disaster on first watch, but it’s mostly Ingram and Deculus, our two most experienced guys. They had the biggest and most obvious busts. Kole Taylor was also really bad as a blocker. That said, pass protection in the face of heavy pressure wasn’t that bad most of the time.

One thing that made the pass pro look worse was the fact that Max stayed back in the pocket and then started bailing out backwards rather than stepping up as the game wore on. Remember how Brennan did that in the State game last year? He was able to correct it in the Vandy and Mizzou games. Hopefully Max can do the same starting this week.

It seems like they are still working on the screen game. They didn’t run it much and it wasn’t very effective when they did.

Nope. I think what you see is what you got. Unfortunately.

It is possible that Peetz doesn't have all of the offense installed. Just have to see what happens in the next few games.

Perhaps Brennan is missed more than many of us thought.

We have 2 scholarship QBs on the roster that are both freshmen. The priority needs to be protecting the QB. Not trying to replicate the 2019 offense. If they haven't figured that out yet we're in trouble.

Yes, he just hasn't got to the running game yet. Maybe next year.

You don't get mulligans in college football. You got to come prepared if its half a package u should know it twice as good.

No excuse to run the ball as poorly as we did---none.

What game did you watch? That was the worst display of pass protection I've ever seen through 4 quarters. And every former LSU/NFL player who has been on the radio since Saturday has said the same thing.

I think his hands are tied with O stating they aren’t going to let max run.

Part of Max’s game is his ability to run, adds a significant difference to the offense. They are afraid he gets hurt then lose games with a true freshman. Well, your losing anyway. O’s philosophy is protection first. It’s why you saw running backs stay in to block. This takes dimention away from the offense as well.

It doesn't matter if we cannot give a young qb time to grow. The o line doesn't help him which subsequently means the running game cannot help him

Peetz is a rookie.

He doesn't have the experience or intuition to call plays.

You hire experience coordinators to know if they have the intuition to see the field, understand the defenses that are being thrown at you, and the correct counters... All in a matter of seconds.

What is wrong with some of you? These coaches are paid handsomely to have the team ready and they failed miserably.

Who cares if Brennan is out, every other aspect looked like a complete shite show. If Peetz cannot install his O in time, then it is on the head coach who's whole strategy is to bring in top coordinators. Seems a first time OC or DC is not that.

No more excuses, this whole administration has sold us snake oil.
