Maybe if he makes a binder and say he will hire a good OC her will get the job like Ed did.

I don’t want him as HC. But I don’t know why people think he had some magic wand and could fix all our issues. This program is a mess.

At least he had the nuts to bench Nuss.

He has a 180lb freshman and a high school QB behind the worst O line in the country

You realize he’s behind a lot of the personnel decisions of this team correct?

How can you call him an awful RB coach when we have a god awful O line and 2 RBs are associated with murder and got kicked off the team.

Explain to me why every time a true freshman comes in behind those same OL only to be come shot the next year or two or three?

There is enough data there to demonstrate he is not only not a good running backs coach but actually makes them worse.

First off, frick off OP. Dude is taking a role due to the HC leaving. Give him credit for stepping up as a temp. He needs to stay on staff. He's a top recruiter and players love him.

Stepping up? You act like the guy is making some great sacrifice.

Frank has been the best recruiter we’ve had through multiple staffs. He doesn’t need to be the head coach but if he more than ok with whoever is hired retaining him

quote:

He is an awful running backs coach that has seen nearly every player he coaches regress from freshman year on.

What an ignorant statement

You can't, but that's what LSU fans do. Results over analysis. I mean, people wanted Jay fired.

Are you that stupid? Call out fans about not using analysis when any legitimate analysis shows he actually makes our RBs worse as they get his coaching.

He’s essentially O, just not trashy.

Not even close. O was actually one of the top DL coaches in the country and could recruit as good as anyone.

Wilson actually is so bad at coaching running backs, the easiest position to coach, they actually get worse from his coaching.

I don’t want him on staff at all. He’s been a jet negative for the program, but Kobe of you want to see it.

All analysis shows he’s actually regressed nearly every running back at LSU in his time here. It’s not a coincidence.

His recruiting is absurdly overrated and even if it was so great is not needed when you just are buying players now.

You need an actual coach now, not a glorified politician.

I think keeping him around as director of personnel or recruiting director etc is not a bad idea to keep all the old players happy as they donate and support the program externally.

Keep him around to pressure wash Tiger stadium. All you younger guys don't know how he got to coach in college. Ol Miss hired him after he lost his job at O.P. Walker then went to NORD. He was hired strictly to recruit New Orleans. NIL makes every coach a good recruiter. He's not a good coach.

Leonard Fournette
Jeremy Hill
Stevan Ridley
Derrius Guice
Spencer Ware
Alfred Blue
CEH

I’ll explain. Durham, is not good. He is not what everyone thought he would be. Berry is, but Berry is 180lbs. The O-line is awful, terrible, putrid.

Holly was supposed to be good. FELONY

Lindsey was supposed to be good. FELONY

He’s stuck with Durham, who isn’t very good, a 180lb runningback who will be great, and a converted high school QB to RB.

All while having zero passing game and zero blocking.

Honestly, I fine if the new coach completely cleans house. Time for a new crop of recruiters to have a chance to connect with local kids.

bullshite I like the way Wilson coaches except for not going for it that one time. The players play for him and this game could have been different had we not waited for the obvious need to transition us to Van Buren which wasn’t until the second half. After that sack shite play by Nuss Wilson didn’t hesitate to put the team first and yank his arse.
