Anyone else that never pays to park on gameday?

Ive never paid to park i usually just park on a curb somewhere on campus and never had s problem also it avoids the big parking area with all the cars that are so hard to get out of after the games i just stroll back to my car parked all by itself on campus and drive right out without sittinf in trafic at all

i usually park at walkons or across burbank from walkons. i prefer walkons because when i leave, getting on burbank in that direction suits me best to get to I-12....but there was as $60 for walkons this year. i'm sure it was announced, but i hadn't planned on going until last minute so i didn't even think to look for parking.

across the street, i'm not sure if they charged. i'm sure they do now as well, but i can't confirm that.

I've never paid to park, but was gifted a parking pass my last 2 games. Wow, game changer.

I never have and I never will. As long as I can walk - and I don't mind walking at all it's part of my daily routine - I'll walk a mile to not pay.

I drop my ice chest off where we tailgate, go park and walk back to the tailgate. After the game I put my ice chest in a friends truck who pays to park near the tailgate and get it the next day.

We normally stay with friends who live pretty close to campus so one of us will get up early that morning and park a vehicle with a bike in the back at the law school then pedal back to their house. We’ll have some breakfast, drink a couple of Bloody Maries, watch Game Day for a little while, then Uber to campus when everyone is ready.

Ive parked out in the Hayfield lot a few times and it's really not a bad walk, unless it's raining after the game. But, I always keep a set of dry clothes in my truck just in case.

Coming in on Dalrymple and usually find a spot near the Lab school or Azalea Hall

I park free around Parker, but the administration has blocked off so many previously free parking areas in that area, even the last few years. I don't know if last weekend was just because there was so many people on campus or because of the construction, but I had hell finding a spot at 1p. W. Lakeshore Drive was packed on both sides all the way to Stanford. I don't really do much tailgating anymore, so coming to campus much earlier than that is tough. We walk around, maybe the Union, catch the band warming up, the victory hill stuff, chill in the PMAC a little. If you don't have a tailgate to go hang out at, it can get boring, and its tough to pack around much alcohol for pregame without having to walk all the way back to free parking in BFE to put an ice chest up in your vehicle. I'm already spending too much on beer in the stadium, so spending even more by the PMAC ain't worth it to me. I'll take a gummy or two early on to help with that. It ain't like the good old days when you could park and tailgate damn near anywhere. The Hayfield is too damn far of a walk and a bitch to get home from after the game. At least walking from Parker you get shade trees and the beauty of campus, so the walk isn't bad at all. There ain't none of that from the Hayfield.

I only park near the levee and enjoy the exercise. I understand your wife’s situation though.

Usually park behind U-High, but with May Street closed Dalrymple isn’t the best exit plan
