A&M has superceded any hate I have for any of our usual SEC rivals thru the years.
At least Florida and Bama I wouldn’t like them but always respected them because of how good they were year in and year out

Even with Saban and Bama, I do!
My first game in Tiger Stadium, we played the Gators. Time looked like it had run out and the game ended in a tie (before OT was a thing), but they added a second back on the clock and kicked a FG to beat us!
That was the start of my disdain for them.
Then I remember Spurrier never letting off the gas beating us to a pulp, and I was stationed in the Navy in Orlando amongst all them when that happened. Not a fun time!
Later, my ship was at a port call in Ft. Lauderdale when we beat them in 1997 so I did a little rubbing it in their faces!

Yes, we lived in Tampa for 10 years, went to several games in the swamp and obviously lived amongst their fanbase. An entitled bunch who didn't realize college football existed pre-Spurrier (as their coach).
Met friends for life that are FSU grads and went to a few of their games. Much different vibe who shares LSU's appetite to have a good time.
