As long as we don’t look like a weak arse team like we did in early 2017 when Rashard Lawrence was hurt. I just don’t want to see us get our shite pushed in on the defensive line
We should be tougher than that since we have Pelini leading the defense now

We have talent at dline but alot of it is young talent and fortunately I think Jabril Cox, Clark, and Stevens in and around the box will help our young defense alot. I will go in this season with expectations of winning at least 8 games because of the talent we lost to the NFL and opt outs but realistically I can see us winning 9 games and making the playoff if Myles can run this offense.

Between the shortened schedule, lack of full crowds, players opting out and no effects to eligibility it feels like 2020 is nothing more than a glorified scrimmage.
I really have no idea what to expect this season. We have a large number of new starters and coaches so all I know is that we should be a lot better at the end of the season.

shite is gonna be just as annoying as Terrance Marshall and Joe Burrows
It’s only annoying if you choose it to be.

So worse offense, defense and no depth = get prepared for 3 losses in 2020. Pretty much what people are saying.
Same ole negatiger. Bled along over the board last year, disappeared and picked up where he left off August of 2019.
That was a poke at the media you fruit cake.
I didn’t get to watch any football until the playoffs as I lost my wife in December after a long bout with kidney and cardiac issues. We met at LSU and spent 50 wonderful years together.
It was nearly 2 years of hospitals and specialists, but ultimately the Lord needed her more than me.
I couldn’t be happier for Orgeron. I am so happy that he was strong enough to make a change. I despised Les Miles since 2008. Good for him coach O.

Constant corrections are more annoying. If you know who they’re talking about, shut the frick up. If you don’t know, get off the board.

Can’t forget “Leonard Fornette”

From every single insider I have heard/read from this offense WILL be better than our 2018 offense. WE ARE INCREDIBLY YOUNG, IT WILL TAKE TIME FOR US TO PEAK. This offense and defense is probably the most naturally talented group we have had since orgeron has taken over. We also probably tie last year for the best coaching staff at lsu since I can remember. Our defense is very good and deep at every position except for DE, which is attributed to our switch to a 4-3 from a 3-4. The o-line is doing very well, but like last year we don't have great depth behind the first team. Reciever is more talented this year than last just very young and still working on timing with myles due to the receiver turnover and shortened preseason. Arik Gilbert is unstoppable, listen to anyone on the team or media and they will tell you. The kid looks like Travis kelce breaking people in half out there. This team has the talent to go 9-1 to 10-0. We just need to start clicking at 100% before florida.

Whoever he is, he should be first off the bus.

This may be indeed true from a talent perspective. Gilbert is something we’ve never had. These Racy has a pro body and speed. TM was the best receiver for several games and most thought he would have been Burrow’s favorite target. Then Boutte and others are sitting there. I mean there is size and speed.
It is the 50 catches that Clyde had that has to be replaced and a Ensminger LOVES to throw to TEs. So I’m going Gilbert having Clyde’s and Thad’s catches.
Health is the only potential issue at WR catches.
