Well we are comparing current teams aren't we? My point was, it isn't a valid reason for a La. kid to go to Bama because he wants to play in the NFL, when he's perfectly capable of achieving that goal at LSU.

You do realize that there are only 4 starters from Alabama on the entire team? (Why do so few good football players come from the state of alabama?) It is really the national recruiting all star team which is what makes team so rough to beat.
Really a credit to sabins recruiting ability more than anything else. Winning a NC isnt really much of a challenge or accomplishment to be so proud of for theses kids under those circumstances

That also, why is LSU so tough on weed and drugs in general and also suspend or kick players off the team who are accused or convicted of crimes. Puts us at another disadvantage vs a team like bama who doesnt follow the same guidelines
