All coaches are mercenaries until they reach their destination job. Ole Miss hired Kiffin to coach their team, and he did a better job than any coach they have ever had, including Johnny Vaught. There is nothing wrong with him moving to a better job if he can
It doesn't matter; we were beaten by teams that had inferior talent and inferior coaching, because they were better prepared. How many days they had to prepare has nothing to do with motivation.

Kiffin to Bama after he signs his Ole Miss extension.

That would make Bama fans happy
Lane is doing the best job he can do; it's the trait that will make the next great SEC coach. If you don't like it, don't follow Lane Kiffin
We are not a very talented team, winning on effort, not skill, but we've shown a lot of resilience, so I like our chances
Spoken like a true left-wing democrat, when facts aren't available to support you, start calling the other side names to diminish them

Is this an ncaa rule or sec rule?
This is an SEC rule, Mississippi State gets to ring their cowbells as much and as long as they feel. It's the way it should be and if you don't like get out of the SEC

BetOnline's current odds to become the next Florida head coach:

If Florida has the resources, they should bet the farm on Lane Kiffin. With the talent in the state, he would restore them to the top of the SEC

Teams like Alabama shouldn't have been ranked after Week 1
No, Alabama should have been ranked, as proven by their current status as the number 4 team in the nation
He had skill, but very little football acumen. I don't think he could turn his back to the defense and still recognize what was going on

If Lane goes to Florida at this point in his career, it would be the perfect storm.
I agree 100% Lane is the best offensive mind Alabama has had and already knows the high school coaches in Florida
I did some rough calculations and figured that from start to finish, commercials took up 35 to 40 percent of the total time. I know they paid a lot for the SEC games, but they're killing the goose that laid the golden egg
Florida should be looking for the best man for the job, not some DEI appointment to satisfy a liberal need for a black man to be in charge. If the correct hire is a black man, then that's great

What a time to be alive!
The dores have earned it, and they deserve it. Congratulations
Harlan County Kentucky, is the most famous county in the south
quote:

Who will BAMA hire after he gets poached by the Yankee mountain lions?

this is kinda asinine to discuss, but if Kalen went to PSU then we would go to Lane fricking Kiffen, and both schools would be better off
Too many "Democrats" involved for there to be any merit to it
quote:

What can Alabama give Lane that LSU won't?
Lane has made it perfectly clear that the only school he would consider is Alabama
quote:

In a postgame setting
That’s not a good look

Leave Lane alone, he is the only quotable coach we have
It's been a long time since I saw a Bama team so unprepared, so unmotivated, so nonchalant, so inept as this latest ( I don't want to say team) as this
Ole Miss did this to force the rules committee to stop the insanity of fake injuries. They should be applauded
