An easy argument can be made that without the wins, it’s just not completely true.

An easy argument...for idiots

when you're defense is awful, you get to throw the ball a lot more. the stats are great but you need to understand they're less valuable.

Daniels has the 7th most pass attempts in the SEC lol

I would take Joe also but what Cam N did his year at Auburn was pretty amazing also.
Nick Farley was the only other starter drafted off that auburn team. That’s incredible.

Daniels had a great year but let’s not act like Thomas and Nabers aren’t a huge part of the reason he did.

You live in a closet if you think the WR's do not get any praise.

But please understand, the whole offense works because of Daniels' threat with his legs and with his arm.

Nabers and Thomas having a great year have absolutely nothing to do with Daniels legs. Replace Daniels with Nix or Penix and they would’ve still had a great season.

I’m not knocking Daniels but to act like Nabers and Thomas are a product of Daniels is a bit ridiculous. Hopefully they all do well in the NFL.

The whole offense is a product of Daniels

Both of the WRs are great, too. It can all be true

These same guys are going to be saying BK/Denbrock are holding back Nuss next year, when he's nowhere near productive. Book it.

These guys just hate JD and only pretend to accept him now.

I mean, if “your” going to go w/ “you’re”, then let’s be consistent and use “their” instead of “they’re”… ijs

He lost 3 starts this year.

Not historical.

No doubt, but did Burrow have any less receivers? I think not. When you add JD5 running ability and turning nothing into 40 gains when it was most needed....JD5 was simply spectacular and more than worthy of the Heisman than 90% of previous winners.
Remember, Tebow, RGIII and the Ravens QB all had 3-4 losses when they won the Heisman, and they didn't have anywhere near the stats of JD5. this is NOT a close call....it should be a runaway unanimous decision.

Burrow played 4 top 10 teams during the regular season, Daniels played 2. Burrows season is still better

Burrow went 5-0 against top 8 teams, 6-0 vs top 15 and 7-0 vs top 25. Put over 40 points on 5 of the those top 25 teams; the other two were UF(37 points) and Auburn(23 points).
Daniel’s has played 4 top 10 teams. Went 1-3 and put over 40 on two of those ( probably would have against Alabama as well) and 24 vs FSU.
They’re both great but Joe has an edge IMO!

Not sure if there are enough football accolades to give JD.

Just watching him play yesterday, the guy is bordering on perfection. Like a machine. Everything just looks so easy and natural and smooth and automatic for him now. Nothing looks forced.

Will go down as one of the great LSU football travesties that we had no defense to pair with him.

Jayden was not horrible against Florida State, but he was not elite, even considering the WR drops. 75 of his passing yards came on one play when the game was over and nobody cared.

Jayden had the ball in his hands with three plays to beat a terrible Ole Miss defense (that day) from the Ole Miss 16 yard line, and we could not punch it in to win.

Jayden threw a crucial pick in the fourth quarter against Bama with LSU down one score, before Daniels was knocked out.

Obviously Daniels was nowhere approaching bad in any of these three games, and he was outstanding against Ole Miss and very good against Bama. The point is that while Daniels might have had one of the most impressive QB seasons statistically, I don't think you can call it the best regular season when LSU lost three games in which Daniels had the ball in his hands to change the outcome.

This. Kind of sad how this place kind of over looks just how great Nabers and Thomas were. Daniels had a great year but let’s not act like Thomas and Nabers aren’t a huge part of the reason he did.

Oh bullshite! Everyone has lauded the receivers all year long. Burrow had receivers who were at least as good, and probably better.

Just briefly looked at the stats comparing him to..

Burrow
Tebow
Tua
Cam
Young
Manziel

His totals are better. Someone in the media that covers LSU should get on this.

Preston said he's going to throw up something today with all Jayden's impressive feats.
