No. Nor are you the only one who starts threads with “Am I the only one” when it’s patently obvious that half the posters will agree.

That's true but Canada never set records, even against shite defenses. Only one monster offensive output and that was aTm and we know how bad their d is. Couldn't do shite against BYU and Syracuse?

The felony for falsifying a license isn’t proof enough for a history of falsifying documents?

you need to c'mon man and wake up and smell the coffee. The plays might have been from Camerons playbook, the same plays that are in many many coaches playbooks as well, but Cameron never ran the offense in any way resembling the offense Ensminger ran.
You need to go watch the offense from 2013 that set records, and the early part of 2015. His offense was putting up numbers. Now I'm not a fan of Cameron but to say his offense didn't put up anything is just plain ignorant, because it did.

Dang. Are those our only 2 choices? I think that’s the problem....

I’m sorry, what about a 0 point 125 yard game vs bama in 2016 makes you think hiring that guy closes any gap?

I thought they were both pretty shitty when it really mattered. That's just my opinion though.

Canada didnt get to run "his" offense. He had Orgeron meddling.

Only one of those offenses actually scored on bama. But damn, we sure put it to that awesome Missouri defense the year before!
Exactly

E's offense in 2016 was the Cam/Les offense. This one will be his. All those records being set were against very lame defenses.
Thank you

like Ensminger's Offense. This is from the Louisville Game showing the Spread. He ran about 10 different looks in the Louisville Game. You can go back but Ensminger has always used the Spread. There is nothing wrong with Ensminger just about 95% of the people on this Board are stupid.
Louisvilles D was lame

I would have preferred to see Canada in a year two.
I would have liked to see Canada with HC who didnt meddle in the offense

I agree with this. I think Canada probably didn't get a fair shake, but he's gone now, so I really don't care about him anymore.
To believe that O and Ensminger are the answer is to believe that Joe Alleva is some genius who can spot diamonds in the rough. I get wanting to be optimistic, but to think that they can run a successful program is to be in denial.

All that shifting and those big offensive linemen having to get up and down in their stances took a lot of energy and did absolutely nothing. They had to get set in their stance once they shifted which gave the defense time to adjust. It was a crappy scheme and I don't blame Orgeron for wanting it scrapped.
Pitt ran Canada's offense in 2017. Watch them beat an undefeated #2 Miami.

I watched that game live. LSU ran a watered down version of Canada's offense.
