Personally i thought Ensmingers offense was way better than Canadas. I know the florida and alabama games are gonna pop up. We had twice as many yards against florida but Guice went the wrong way. I will admit the bama game though. I wished he would have tried Harris in that game, you could tell Etling wasnt going to do shite and Guice should have got a lot more carries. But he kicked arse most of the games. Offense was actually fun to watch. Personally i think he is gonna suprise people. Hes a cagy old bird.

He and O at press conferences would give Justin Wilson and Strom Thurmond a helluva run.

Nobody has a clue what Ensminger s O is. I could youtube a few games 20 years ago and see it I guess

Are you talking about late 90s Clemson or early 90s A&M?

I like the style of offense they ran in '16 better than Canada's offense. I'm just not a fan of THAT much shifting and basing the offense around the sweep. If they're gonna shift that much, I prefer the Wisconsin style more.

I'm not into the WRs getting the most rushing yards. I would prefer the RB wear down the front and hit the play action more. That's just my opinion though. I've never designed an offense in real life. Only on Xbox.

the players made lots of mistakes in that florida game, not just Guice. it was just one of those games where we couldn't score in the red zone.

I think Ensminger will field a better offense than Canada. he won't be running the exact same one he ran two years ago. will it work against bama? I don't know but one of these days we'll beat those bastards.

Much rathered the altered on the fly offense of SE than canada's and think I'll rather the offense he unveils this fall. Was never wowed by Canada's offense, it was very underwhelming (even against the shitty teams).

O hired E and fired Canada, so no, you’re clearly not the only one

Only one of those offenses actually scored on bama. But damn, we sure put it to that awesome Missouri defense the year before!

E's offense in 2016 was the Cam/Les offense. This one will be his. All those records being set were against very lame defenses.

In fairness with all the production gone from 2017's offense, if E does marginally better this year, I'll say he did alright.

I like Ensminger's Offense. This is from the Louisville Game showing the Spread. He ran about 10 different looks in the Louisville Game. You can go back but Ensminger has always used the Spread. There is nothing wrong with Ensminger just about 95% of the people on this Board are stupid.

Canada’s offense was crap.
Ensminger would have done more with last years talent than Canada.

That's just a stock shotgun formation and not necessarily "the spread". There's been a LOT of discussion about that pic already on tRant. 99% of the teams in college and pro ball run that formation. I would say maybe only the triple option teams may not.

Surely you don't think Steve installed an offense midseaeson?
You must mean Cameron's offense Steve borrowed, and yes it was better than Canada's O-tainted offense.

I didn’t like it versus the only two good defenses.

Ensminger had a better offensive team but couldn’t score on Alabama

He was just calling plays though. I would have preferred to see Canada in a year two.

All that shifting and those big offensive linemen having to get up and down in their stances took a lot of energy and did absolutely nothing. They had to get set in their stance once they shifted which gave the defense time to adjust. It was a crappy scheme and I don't blame Orgeron for wanting it scrapped.
