If you’re going to start a thread, you should have a clue.

I'd find a spot for Lloreda. That dude had serious post moves, and if you needed someone to go in pick up a flagrant and win a fight.... he was your guy.

Willie and Hi C Carter were the best instant impact off the bench players.

I'd also have to find a spot for Mr. Band Aid himself, Vernel Singleton.

Shaq
Petit
Pete
Chris
Howard Carter instead of Rudy because he gives us a 3rd three point shooter.

Love these three guys, but they should not be on the all time team.

That would be the greatest guard duo in the history of College basketball. Those 2 alone with Shaq as the third wheel would guarantee, in my opinion, them beating everyone of those other schools greats. MJ was good in college but he wasn't Pistol or CJ till he got a few years into his pro career. We literally have 3 of the greatest College basketball players in the history of college basketball. At a football school!

Can we please just agree that Ben Simmons is not a LSU Tiger? We rented him for a year, and that's all. He all but admitted his time at LSU was not enjoyable nor did it mean anything to him.

PG - Chris Jackson - Derrick Taylor
SG - Pete Maravich - Howard Carter
SF - Rudy Macklin - John Williams
PF - Bob Pettit - Leonard Mitchell
C - Shaq -

It's hard to leave Scales, Ethan Martin and Blanton off. Also, Jerry Ice Reynolds went head to head with Michael Jordan (and equaled him) at UNC. Reynolds was a beast.

FightinTigersDammit

Thanks Dude Big John could take anyone off the dribble. As Dickie V said from 15 feet in he is unstoppable.

And anyone who thinks the Cookieman doesnt belong didnt see him play. With a team of all stars you need an enforcer and Greg Cook was the baddest man ever to play basketball for LSU!

Got the guards and center right. There are many candidates at forward. I would take Rudy Macklin first, based on what he did at LSU, and what he meant to the program. He was Dale Brown's first marquis recruit. Based upon that same criteria, I would not have Simmons on the team.

I'd put Ethan Martin above Derrick Taylor. Martin is the classic true Point Guard

Agreed LSU$$$

In an actual game I would want Ethan Martin on the floor with Pistol. Only one ball Ethan could penetrate and pass with the best of them and he was a way better defender than CJ or Pistol

I'm bringing Clarence Caesar off my bench to rain down 3's from the corner and Vernel Singleton for the smoothness...
