I have no love for Vitale. But near everyone here has totally misread his quote.
All he is saying is Kansas will not face sanctions (vacating wins) for THIS season.
Neither will LSU.
Both Kansas and LSU have NOA’s thru the IARP. Both will get sanctions.
The OP and most in this thread are just totally misreading the statement.

We just fired one of our greatest bball coaches ever because Vitale rode us for cheating. The next month he is praising Kansas making us look like fools....yeah buddy, I'm the problem.

Richard has always been ok with cheating as long as its one of buddies or someone or a school that pushes his books and the slush fund front that he calls a charity.
Really want to win him over mention that he is in 14 hall of fames.

The main point the OP is making I think is that lets say LSU had made a run to the Final 4 & won the NC with Wade as HC. You think DICK would be making excuses for LSU & WW?

Wade was fired because he got caught cheating. It isn't more simple that that. It matters nothing about the way you think about it, he was "CHEATING'. Now that isn't hard to understand for any "hardhead" out there. Why is this so hard to understand.
