Nathan graduated HS in 1975 from Woodlawn in east Birmingham. A movie about his team "Woodlawn " is in theaters now.

That '74 loss ranks high on the list of worst LSU losses. Everyone thought the Tigers were about to turn around a disappointing season the week before, when they shut out Ole Miss on homecoming 24-0. One note of trivia: my 1967 Dodge Coronet stalled out TWICE right after the Ole Miss win, in the same location, in front of the Hodges dormitory. I got a boost TWICE, from the same young man. I didn't hang around after the second battery boost to find out if the guy was pissed off.

60's are middle age because 40's keep showing they are still wet behind the ears and 20's these days don't know how to wipe their own arse.

And this comment makes you just a tad disrespectful.

How do you know how long he will live? You could be middle aged at 15.. EVERYTHING is relative. He might live until he is 120.

The above statement is typical of a punk kid.

Graduated in 81 and we went through it with Cholly Mac. Charles Alexander was an amazing back but we didn't have the passing attack to open it up for him like BH6 does for LF7.

GEAUX TIGERS! We have been fans longer than most on this board have been alive. Because we remember those days, we tend to pump sunshine.

THIS team is a special combination of character and talent. Not only are they undefeated, but they have not made the papers for all the wrong reasons. No assault charges, no synthetic pot, no attempted murder, etc. etc. etc.

This is our year! And GEAUX LSU GRADS in their middle and late middle years. Love purple and LIVE GOLD A REALLY LONG TIME!!! :nana

I graduated from LSU in '84 and I gleefully remember the 20-10 game in '82.

Graduated LSU in '91. Middle-agedness is all up in my business.

I have been to each Bama home game since 1995 with the exception of 2012. I was also there in the Dome on 010912.

There is no more soul crushing, life touchstone, mile-marking event for me as a sports fan than experiencing the LSU Defense finally crumble and allow a touchdown to Trent Richardson and the Crimson Tide.

I can appreciate older Tiger Fans whose memories and experiences reach back further in time than mine. But make no mistake...there is no comparison for me to the shell-shocked feeling of walking out of the Super Dome with my Father and getting on the Canal Street Trolley to go back to his truck and make that drive back home.

I have been in fights as a child, and high school and a few as a young adult. But no punch ever landed has compared to the aforementioned soul crushing weight of that loss for me as an LSU Fan.

I'm not sure anything ever will.

Since the overwhelming majority of posters on this board fall into the "arse Clown" category, you just have to ignore them. (Like we do)

We know who they are and what they are. (18 and under. No life. No girlfriend. Live at home with mommy and daddy. Never been inside an LSU classroom. Never played any organized sports, etc.............)

Could totally care less as to what they think or their opinions on what we have to say. Not worthy of responding to. We don't have time or desire for adolescent nonsense, so we just express our opinions and move on.

BTW, early 80's LSU Grad here............

Oh, shite, JB - you are old as frick.

I was raised by a man with an irrational hatred of the University of Alabama football team. It is family policy to not spend any money in Alabama - when we travel across the state we stop only at rest stops and leave little presents for them.

You don't have to tell me, baw. It's a hatred like I hate them from the old neighborhood.

I've hated those Skoal Drool Skunk Rectum Teabagging Things since age 9 when they ruined our perfect season in '72, and it's gotten more intense ever since. I agree 1,000 percent with the radio guy's rant...

The US Census lists the category middle age around 45 to 64, while prominent psychologist Erik Erikson saw it ending a little later and defines middle adulthood as between 40 and 65. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, the standard diagnostic manual of the American Psychiatric Association, used to define middle age as 40–60, but as of Edition IV (1994) revised the definition upwards to 45–65.

And for the record, you are a douche bag.
