And move the bullpens off the field

Bullpens off of the field.

His first request.

Is this truly an upgrade or just a change? If the fans aren't moved closer to the field, it's not really an upgrade. Add field level suites?

Mahtook said something recently about hearing rumors about not only the bullpens being moved but also doing away with the outfield bleachers in lieu of something more fan friendly. He also said he doesn't know how soon it will happen though.

LSUAD is not focused on The Box when our MBB/WBB situation is much worse in every aspect.

Fix our basketball situation FIRST.

Won’t happen Leroy and here are 2 reasons why. It will be much easier to get big money donors to fund Box improvements. The Box doesn’t need replacement or a overhaul. What it needs is some tweaks and additions that should have happened when it was built if it had we wouldn’t be here today. The PMAC either needs replacing or a compete gutting and overhaul and redesign inside. Which based upon what Scott has said I think that is where they are leaning. More of the big money donors have a interest in baseball than they do basketball. You don’t have to like it but it is a fact. Will take a bit longer to get the funds for the PMAC.

Completely redoing the outfield from the wall being moved in, adding the bullpens behind the fence, actual stands instead of bleachers. It will all happen at once and not till after 2023.

Just give me a wrap around concourse, suites and chairbacks to the foul poles and hidden bullpens.

They got the financing huh? If they did, they would have started the work in June.

JJ also wants an indoor practice infield that will be attached to the end of the new weight room.

What are actual "upgrades" that NEED to be done. Stop with this suite bullshite. They added all that shite for football and everyone bitches that it's a waste. I haven't been to a game there, so this is a serious question. What is so bad over there that everyone is always asking about upgrades?

Getting the bullpens off the field.
Getting rid of all the bleachers and replacing with chair backs.
Extending the covered grandstand.
Doing something in the outfield to create a better experience ( a terrace( instead of just a berm), with multiple levels, outfield suites similar to state , BBQ area, .
Fix the crappy batters eye.

Those are the major deals for the stadium and then Coach JJ wants an indoor infield.

Everyone? Don’t think so. Suites are an essential part of every sports business model now. They bring in an enormous amount of revenue per square foot. Far more than traditional seating. Most fans know that even if THEY don't sit in a suite, it’s still an important part of the athletic budget.

I haven't but what I have heard is that it'll never be ready in time.
