anyone else hate when it is dark in the stands? something about not having lighting in the stands annoys me...the PMAC has this issue too.

I'm all for chairbacks and I'd like them to increase the capacity. BUT, chairbacks require more space than the bleachers.. Can you imagine how pissed some of us will be to get the email that says, good news you have a chairback seat, but you've been relocated to the the outfielld instead of the thirdbase line.

I would support the increased capacity so more people can become season ticket holders. The problem is TAF will still let the top donors horde tickets that they never use. So the extra tix won't be available to the fans who want them to use personally.

It was a rush in 2009 to beat Arkansas for a 10,000 seat baseball stadium. That's why it was built so cheap

Watching all the different regionals, what do you wish Alex Box would do to improve the aesthetics? Saw the largest college baseball stadium is 15k people. No reason LSU shouldn't take that honor. It would only fill up for major SEC games and post season, but wouldn't take much. 1) add covered suites all the way down the lines. 2) add chairbacks under them in those sections. 3) connect outfield bleachers with berm or more bleachers. Those empty spaces look terrible and unfinished between bleachers and batters eye. I think Arkansas has it right...or close.

All that and you didn’t get rid of the bleachers? And added more?

would love to see a party deck with a beer garden / bar atmosphere somewhere in the outfield. same with an area for tailgaiting .

the grandstands need some "big arse fans" to move the air better on humid days

My simple wish is for a simple large well lit "LSU" on the visible side of the indoor practice facility. That's such a large blank canvas that is currently nothing more than metal paneling

Eliminate all the bleacher seats
Chair backs down both lines and in retained positions outfield seats
Outfield build a designed tailgate area, chair seats behind this area
Build rentable condos/suites in the outfield with a rooftop bar 4 story
Double deck the suites and extend further down the line
Add a second deck above the gold and purple seats with ability to go further out.

Or put a roof over the whole thing to eliminate weather issues

Adding a berm large hill in left or right center for the kids to slide down on pizza boxes!
Texas has a neat thing where they have like a tailgate area and left field behind the fence.

It's actually awful even in a decent climate.

Now consider how wet and muggy most LSU baseball games are. Now imagine sitting on wet dirt.

People who want a berm are simps.

1) permanent, solid bleachers all around. No more aluminum, LHSAA bleachers

2) redesign the outer area, from LF line to RF line: solid two tier design with eating establishments w/ tables & tailgating space behind the BOX. In between RF and LF new design, fill in with a SRO grass hill, for kids & LSU students. (*possibly geaux all out, and have a large infinity pool —- w/ clear cascade wall, so bikinis are visible).

Home runs would be classic being chased after in this area.

also, in my mind, a berm would only look right if it could feasibly be a part of the natural landscape like hoover or arkansas.

they should just make the center field wall plexi glass and let people mill about back there

1. Extend canopy and concourse all the way down the lines.

2. Box sets all the way down the line, and angled towards the infield like every good baseball stadium instead of facing the outfield wall.

3. Outfield berm that wraps from pole to pole. Real outfield bullpens. Something inspired by the Dell Diamond.
