Watching all the different regionals, what do you wish Alex Box would do to improve the aesthetics?

Saw the largest college baseball stadium is 15k people. No reason LSU shouldn't take that honor. It would only fill up for major SEC games and post season, but wouldn't take much.

1) add covered suites all the way down the lines.
2) add chairbacks under them in those sections.
3) connect outfield bleachers with berm or more bleachers. Those empty spaces look terrible and unfinished between bleachers and batters eye.

I think Arkansas has it right...or close.

I know I'm in the minority, but I don't see the infatuation fans seem to have with sitting on a levee getting tore up my mosquitos.

I want them to move the TV tower from beside the batters eye to above it like they do at Vandy (Hawkins Field)

Look at how much better this angle is for watching baseball...

Baum Walker and Dudy Noble are the two that are both nicer and are of comparable size. There are others that can be considered nicer but don’t hold as many as Alex Box. Chairbacks would be #1 on my priority list. Extending the canopy would be #2. Doing something with the outfield sections would be #3.

LSU has the TAF $$ and elite baseball program to do the stadium upgrades. It's time for phase 2 at the Box with updating the facility and really making it a showpiece. If MSU and Arkansas can do it, so can LSU. Need the AD to sign off. The basketball arena is being built with private $$

I like the idea of putting the students up there and allowing ice chests in if you pay $xyz per chest. That would get rowdy

It’s personal preference. Some people like the idea of lawn chairs, coolers, grills, etc. others are fine with metal bleachers and not having to deal with all of that stuff.

I personally don’t think that a “berm” is the best option, but I wouldn’t have a problem with it. It would give people the option of having that experience or having a more traditional experience.

Everything in foul territory should match the current grandstand, like Baum.

The outfield should be a party for students and folks who want a cheap ticket. No bleachers. Also, you don't need to build a berm to achieve this.

Your list has the big three. I want #1 and 3 so badly, I’d be willing to still sit on metal seats. South Louisiana is inundated with scorching temps and frequent rain. We must extend the concourse and covered seating.

Box has a cheap arse feel to it with all the exposed silver handrails and sheet metal that runs around the bleachers walkways. Just a crappy cheap temporary feel to it. At least color them green or something so it doesn’t look like scaffolding everywhere. Looks like shite on TV.

All chair backs, at least down the foul lines.

This. I'm not a "berm" guy, and the current setup with the facilities parking lot behind the outfield in left does not really seem like a berm is feasible on that side. Not sure the student section is the best place for a berm.

Like I reported last year... The old man told me the finished project The Box will hold 15k-16k.

New outfield, seating and a cover all the way to the foul poles

Terf field. Looks clean as hell. Dont have to worry about rain delays or cancelations anymore, and we have home advantage due to the speed our guys can run and no more bad hops on the infeild due to poorly dragged dirt

It is a big one but a low rise condo/hotel with balconies to replace the left field bleachers similar to Miss St. It would double as tailgating suites for football weekends and could also be nightly hotel rentals during non-events.

It should designed in a manner in that it could be expanded around the entire outfield and tie into the new basketball arena planned for across Gourrier with more suites are bars/restaurants into a boardwalk/entertainment district.

The private/public venture would be the first expansion at LSU that would be profit not cost center.
