My melt about Wade being hired? I think you need to check my post history cause you're 100% wrong on that one. Plus one has nothing to do with the other but carry on, nothing like watching ignorance and someone fumble over their own comments.

No doubt. My problem here (TD) is how polarizing it is. Tough to find understanding and good discussion when every other post is either someone saying everyone and everything is the worst to saying this is totally fine and we have zero to worry about because "that's just baseball", "but Florida is good" or "it's just March".

Stop buying into preaseason hype...this baseball team isn't very good right now. Until a team starts playing games, who really knows how good it is.

The funny thing is, as much as everyone is bitching about hitting right now, I'm actually much more worried about out pitching. We have very little consistency in the bullpen and Lange seems to be even more up and down than last year.

Years Back the same thing happened and I said just stay positive. LSU fans was talking about the team so bad. Once again I said stay positive and the Tigers went on a 20 something game win streak. I'm not saying I caused that but let's get behind these guys and help them work through it. This season will turn around. Geaux Tigers

Based solely on his stats, he has regressed every year.

Outside of Gilbert, idk wtf to do. Hcb sent me this: how long before a reliever refuses to leave the mound if PM tries to bring in Strall with runners on base?

I don't think people are down on our guys. Yes you have the fan that rips kids but they're more rare. I think it's more about people losing their confidence in CPM, from his pitching moves to his late game decisions and lineup formation. That's what's got people melting early, we've seen a lot of this over and over.

Even Gilbert has been inconsistent at times. I really hope Hunter Newman is back soon or we could be in major trouble.

Putting in Strall is Paul's way of throwing in the towel

Wow ok I'll go slow because it seems you need that. 2 days before the hire I gave my list, top 5 coaching candidates. I was asked why by Crean haters so I gave points and was attacked by some, not all, for that. The day before in a more tempered thread I stated that I thought Wade was a good coach and I didn't see any in game weaknesses but my concern was the unknown of his recruiting coupled with his short resume. The day he was hired I stated that I had no problem with it and now that he was the coach we needed to get behind him and support him 100%. Then right after the press conf I said it was the most impressive I've ever heard that he said word for word everything I wanted and felt a coach needed to see in our program and that I was in love with the hire at that point. So yes you're 100% wrong about my opinion of him and my so called "melt" which was actually as far from a melt as can be. I even ate crow for any cupcakes who thought I was dogging Wade just to ease the safe space crowds precious little minds.

I think this is fair. I'm not in melt mode yet because we're only 5 games into SEC play, but I understand why many posters are.

CPM has been around a while now and little things like you listed seem to always catch up with us in the postseason.

I know Romero is hurt and this is a little dicey of a theory, but would he be hurt if hed've been in the lineup all year lol? To me this has been the biggest issue, the construction of the lineup. He's made some poor moves as we said earlier but if we had a consistent run producing lineup we may be able to mask some of those moves. The downside to that is sooner or later he will have to make those calls and over the past 6 years has made poor choices. I know 09 was his team but some of the guys weren't and that team was as close to the old days as we've had since, you almost couldn't lose. What he's done since is how he should be judged not by one special year. What do you think?

Romero's shoulder is hurt, but it does not affect his hitting.

There should be a little more sense of urgency in college baseball, especially in SEC play.

This is not MLB, where you play 162 games.

Idiots who don't see where this season is going! Your take "be patient we just lost 4 games in football with top 5 talent"
"Be patient with JJ he had the #1,15 player on the country but can't get to the tournament"
"Don't melt CPM will get us to the playoffs and we'll host a regional". It's loser mentality that many LSU fans don't accept.
