Thanks man. Not sure. Probably because it was made in Decemver but it's a season tracking thread. But he's gonna hit 20 so it's awesome.

Congratulations to Coach Paul Mainieri and the LSU Tigers on earning a sixth-straight national seed, sweeping through the regional, demoralizing the Cowbells by beating them five straight in a month including the super regional, and advancing to Omaha for the College World Series!

Good luck the rest of the way.

It's funny because melting during football season is one thing. A couple losses really do detail your team.

But in baseball?

How can LSU baseball fans, of all people, be so baseball ignorant?

I wouldn't consider the ones that only come on here when we lose or are losing baseball fans. If you read just a couple of the post you'll realize they don't know sh*t about baseball. They really came out Saturday night down 3-0 acting like we were down 10-0 and the season was over.

There are myriad psychological reasons why a particular group of people acts irrationally, too many to discuss here. It's fascinating to watch.

Didn't you know, the games don't count yet. The pumpers will notify the rant when they officially start counting.

Is he still around, dispensing his godlike baseball knowledge for us mere mortals like manna from heaven?

My wife literally cant watch a game without criticizing every pitch. I have to watch in a different room. I have spent 15 years explaining that you dont watch sports like that, and I have failed to get the point across.

You should see her and the Moms and Dads at my boys games, holy shite if a kid makes an error or swings and misses. They start googling baseball private lessons.

Team is garbage, series sweep coming. CPM sux, bring back Smoke, blah blah blah.

I think Mainieri and mid-season melts are a beautiful co-dependent relationship.

Tigerdroppings is like Nick Saban to PM's Damien James. Just when Manieri is getting too cute with the lineup, throwing half the team under the bus, and underacheiving and overthinking his way through the midweeks, Tigerdroppings rips him a new one and whips him into shape for the inevitable late-season run.

It happens every year.

You could look it up.

Congratulations to Coach Paul Mainieri and the LSU Tigers on making it to the program's seventh national championship final! You lost your third starter, found another plus a closer, and beat the best team in the nation in two straight elimination games. Now you stand on the cusp of winning the College World Series!

Jared Poché, Alex Lange, and Caleb Gilbert have been STUDS.

Good luck in the championship series!

But I thought the season was over after 13-1? That was CPM's version of 1/9 and set the program back so far, after all.
