You do know we are ranked higher than Florida right?

This board is in perpetual melt. No matter the season or sport.

Honestly, if not for preseason biases by pollsters, they wouldn't be top 25 after the sweep last week. But I realize that's not really your point.

Florida has been disappointing but their starting pitching is still elite.

Our season long offensive numbers are fine. Freaking out because we've struggled against good pitching is classic tiger rant.

Are we supposed to melt down every time we lose to a team ranked lower than us? This isn't football.

Not an admin.

Someone calling college players "garbage," as many have done here, just proves my point.

And the site is shitty for many reasons, not the least of which is the quality of the posters here.

I think that's why many are losing it. We've faced elite pitching on the road this year... 0-3. Not a big sample size but it's concerning that we've had a single good inning vs TCU and 26 terrible innings outside of that.

Yeah, it's just one game...well two games now....er seven games total I guess. But midweek games don't count! And losses to Florida don't count because they're good! So its really like we're undefeated when you think about it.

Woo hoo!!

Joe Alleva just this past offseason panicked and gave Mainieri and extension and more promises of more money poured into the baseball program. Alleva has shown his commitment to provide Paul Maineiri with more money and resources than any other program in college baseball. Mainieri has rewarded Alleva by hiring as many former players from his 2009 team as possible.

If Mainieri can't coach this team to a deep run in Omaha then the money is being wasted and Mainieri is not giving Alleva his money's worth.

I look forward to your posts about the baseball team this June.

It's concerning, no doubt. We obviously need to see some growth from the young guys and some tinkering with the lineup.

But throwing in the towel for the season and calling for Mainieri's head is peak rant.

And I don't even like Mainieri

When Everytime adds up to a bunch of times, plus 2 in a row to the same team, yea a melt is in order. ESP after the way this weekend has looked.

Considering your melt about LSU hiring Will Wade I'm going to consider this one a good omen for the rest of the season.
